Wheels look good but Id go with some narrow 1.9 tires from Boom Racing. Theyd get you that pizza cutter look

I'd forgotten about these tires but, RC4WD sells the Interco TSL Narrow (Super Swamper), too. They might be what you're looking for as far as the retro look.

Make your own shackles. Make them as short as possible eye to eye while still allowing the suspension work. That will lower it quite a bit.

i use the same 1.55 rims RC4WD 0289 clear color & 1.55 Goodyear Wrangler 3.74 tires RC4WD 0171 for the pizza cutter look lol!

The 1.55” MTR is smaller than the stocks, that’s what I’m planning to put on mine, she arrived yesterday 😋

Replace the motor plate spacers with 9mm spacers to fit an se without any motor plate trimming

The rollbar looks awesome on the truck but I think you should paint it white to tie into the color scheme of the truck it would look. 😗👌 Also the white steelies look great on the truck than the other rims. 👍👍

Love the white wheels but I'm curious how the new trans/skid plate gives more clearance but doesn't change the angle of the transfer case to gearbox connection?

The case angles down from the input from the transmission, this skid just lifts up the output side while leaving the input in the same spot, and it’s designed to fit tighter around the case. The only downside is in lifted rigs you may need longer driveshafts.

I have the A&M on my 4runner. It is for more serious crawling, lots of weight down low, but it tucks everything up so high you will definitely need longer drive shafts.

They were the rims I thought of in my last comment but I forgot about the 1.9/7/55 size thing.🤦🏻‍♂️😄 To be fair, the small first tyres did look like some of the brochure Hiluxs I looked at which had all the wheel well gap.😜

Hrm....white land cruiser steelies with the 'sport' mirrors and the stripe kit on an 82? Certainly quite the interesting build sheet, even my DLX trim 82 came with chrome!...and the 4 speed (who needs to go faster than 60 anyways?) But the black rollbar looks good! But maybe the RC4WD double tube bumpers would match it nicely for that 'dealer upgrade' look? Rc4wd part numbers Z-S0273 and Z-S0477 Also if ya do a topper, most of em weren't painted body color at the time, So they were typically white, beige or a sort of light greyish color. My 1:1 has a period correct topper and it's a weird beige color as original

It could work on a trailer, tires might be too big depending on what type it is. The rear plastic bumper does have a receiver hitch. Would have to add a rear leaf spring to the truck to tow with it, ite pretty soft the way I have it set up.

Stupid question, but do all 1.7 tires fit on all 1.55 rims? I love the small rim large tire look

That i cant say for sure, some have different size beadlock rings, especially other brands. Also Im sure under extreme power these probably wouldnt hold as well as a 1.55 tire would. But I wasnt able to pull the tire off the bead by hand, so its strong enough for my driving style.

How does the Bowhouse skid compare to the A&M metal skid set? As that raises the transfer case right up and gives a large skid plate underneath

The a&m is great, but it’s more for serious crawling. Adds weight down low, but it raises the t case up so much you will likely need longer driveshafts. The bowhouse is on most of my tf2’s, a good cheaper solution without spending more on drive shafts and still a huge improvement over the stock piece.
