I think people are far too negative about the things they supposedly love. Comics, movies, action figure, are supposed to be an escape. That Bane is awesome and if a “fan” of action figures can’t appreciate that, I have to wonder why they are collecting to begin with. Beauty can be found in imperfection as well.

Y'know McFarlane Toys butterfly articulation is amazing and I really hope they don't stop doing that. In fact I hope they find a way to use it on bigger figures too

I contact McFarlane costumer service about a week ago because I have an issue with my merciless batman torso and in just one day they help me and fix my problem, in one week fedex knock at my door with one new merciless torso, so by experience I can tell you that they are awesome! I just found this wave on Amazon at clearance prices. Decided to check your channel to see what I got myself into with Bane. I really appreciate the commentary man. I feel the same way. I think this design of Bane looks great, and I've been wanting the Batman fig for a while. Overall pretty excited now that I see that it's totally doable. I think I'll put the hands on the arms before attaching them to the body. I can't complain AT ALL for the price I got either. Thank you.

So the one thing I noticed is that although it’s tough to put together, it’s super sturdy once you do put it together. Kinda like what you said about how you don’t mind wrestling w it as long as it doesn’t feel like you’re about to break it

this is a nice looking figure, I think it's great when companies make different variations of characters. and a lot of times I'll buy different variation of characters. but i like my figures to have better articulation. Just so happens to be more statuesque to me. otherwise i would get it. It's not a bad figure and I'm happy if other people are getting the kinds of things they like to it's important for there to be given N take. Sooner or later if a line live long enough you're bound to get something you like. As for Marvel Legends I just so happen to be one of those people where I like the build-a-figure, and I like the so-called space fillers figures around the build-a-figure. A little something for everyone just got to keep your eye out for it and if you don't like it just move along and look for something to do like. Good talk Cheers👍

I fully agree with you there my friend. This figure, while it’s nice they tried to give it as much range as they could, just isn’t made to be moved around too much. I tend to poke fun at Legends but they really can make some outstanding figures when they give it 100%. Hopefully this line lives long enough to give everyone what they want.

@@JoshFromBefore i have no problem with you pokeing at ML. even though i do collect the alot of the stuff i know it has its faults. but what line dosn't. that being said, i know if mcfarlane wanted to he could have easily made a more poseable Bane. i'm not picking on him, infact i do like how he trys to experiment with his toy lines. most of the time he dos quite well, and other times maybe not so much. But i do try to suport what he dos, because if we all pitch in we can help the lines of companys we like live long enofe to evole, and put out something for every one. at least thats the idea i am thinking. ha ha

From the most feedbacks ive hear of this baf the design is on point and really good its just the articulation that mostly caused all this fuzz Ive seen a lot of complaints too that the peg on Bane's leg is too loose that it'll come off easily, oh and what if you try putting scarecrow on his flight stand to support him on banes back that might help. Btw nice review tho very thorough keep it up bro! :D

Good idea, but honestly after playing with it a bit more, it's not too tough to get Scarecrow to get into a good balanced pose.

Beautiful figure - one of my favorite Bane iterations. BTW - the first few minutes of the vid and several other moments almost had me at a standing ovation - WELL said.... constructive criticism is one thing but I think some people just want to whine. Also, I had no idea you lived in Indy, I live slightly north of town (NOT in Carmel, so you can’t hold that against me 😂 jk). Great review as usual, can’t wait to start in on my build. Thanks again!

You should check out the warhammer figures. They have some heft to them but for their size they actually move pretty good

Those Merciless shoulders were stiff to all hell....so before I even tried I put them in boiling water.... softened them right up.... I remember having to use hot water with a DC Universe Kalibak years ago.....So complaining about using hot water is redundant.... It's part of collecting plastic....but great Review..... You can't compare Storm Collectibles to McFarlane. There two different price points. Solid review overall.

sure you can, he just did. Price points are all over the map, even inside one companie alone. So how much weight does that really hold outside talking about one's budget. we all have differenr perspectives and that ok. the only problem is there are to many people that think they need to "harangue" others and push their opinion. people need to be more selective with where thay puke out there opinions. sometimes it's just good to listen. The storm collectibles bane IS the best bane ever made, mostly because the legs and fists don't fall off . Yes, I like this bane a lot ,I have no problem with the design but I shouldn't have to reengineer a figure to make it work as it should.

Boy... It was a pain in the "Ars" to put that Bane Parts together. Every Hole was tighter than a virgin asshole. Had to become myself a Bane to "Build this Figure". But that Scarecrow I can't put into his Backhole. Afraid to broke something. I gave up and just have him loose on Bane. McFarlane Toys need to get a bit better with there Production. This Building Figures Shit sucks to put them together... But I know who is guilty! Kevin Smith with his fighting lesbian Teela Feminism!^^

IDC who ever green lit this build before shipping shouldnt be designing the build pieces. I almost hate this figure just because the connecting joints. My left hand and both legs wont stay on at all. I had to push as hard as i can to keep them somewhat on and it still isnt flush connected. Very bad joint design. But it does look cool.

I don’t like the design of this Bane but more importantly it’s well executed. The articulation is weak even for a massive character and the QC is horrible. The sculpt is nice but that doesn’t make up for all the negatives.
