If it had come with a wired cape, a standard plastic cape with accurate boots, some nice dark blue shading on the light blue color, it would have been a home run, I still feel this is not the definite blue, and grey Batman figure.

That bicep separating has been a reoccurring problem for me in this line. I've had multiple figures come out the box with QC issues and limbs simply not being glued properly. Gorilla Grodd, Darkseid, The Killing Joke Joker, and Steppenwolf to name a few that I've had that issue with. It sucks because to fix the issue you have to add super glue and that will basically lock the joint and prevent any articulation.

My Grood's right right broke off the socket 2 weeks ago I was just dusting them off and moving parts because its cold now And SNAP it came right off.

I was lucky that the glue on this gave out where it did instead of the peg coming out of the socket. For this, I just have to glue 2 pieces that were supposed to be glued in the first place, so it’s not going to interfere with articulation. Still very frustrating and a very bad problem, they’re gonna lose people releasing a $50 figure that falls apart right out of the box

Awesome review bro. Plastic cape looks mighty tricky but the way the promo pics looked was perfect so there’s gotta be a sweet spot body pose where you can tilt the head forward. Can’t wait for mine in the mail, but gotta say I’m only a fan of cloth capes if they have wires. They just can’t drape properly without them 🤷‍♂️ I’m stealing your Dracula pose though lol It would be amazing if they rereleased him in black as well. Shocked Todd didn’t sneak his name on a tombstone.

The way this cape looks heavy in the scale of the figure is really winning me over, but yeah some wire would really give it life and allow for more jumping/swinging/fighting poses. For basically a first attempt at a real fabric cape, this is surprisingly good. I’m not exactly hoping for many more soft goods, but they could win me over if they keep doing them this well.

Yeah I've never really enjoyed cloth capes either. They just look so flat, and you don't get the ridges and flow looks like you to in rubber capes. This figure kinda confuses me, with the wrong boots, especially on a design that Todd drew himself 💀, how is that even possible? I still enjoy it as a whole. But, what a dumb oversight.

Got mine today finally after the cancelation BS the first go around. Arm broke immediately despite being very careful. Had to glue it so of course it no longer swivels. Plastic cape looks like crap and shows the hole on the inside.

I'm ready for that cape to be re-used on a Spawn figure, I really hone McFarlane comes with an "animated series" Spawn with a cape like that, would be dope. I have the classic Kickstarter Spawn, but that Spawn still looks modernized. A more simple, less texture, classic Spawn with that big plastic cape in red would look badass...

Well I went ahead and got one …. Target put them up again… cape looks good… the cloth cape is heavy and wrinkled… I’ll work on it…the shadows are too heavy…. I feel we will see it reissued on a standard box ….

I picked up the 3J Batman (same body sculpt) last night and the body is nice but definitely has some limitations. That ab crunch is terrible. Turning the head left or right also doesn’t work too well. Mine will be going under the knife soon. He’s so close to being great.

Target cancelled mine 3 times, I originally ordered the regular version it got cancelled but I was able to preorder the signed then that got cancelled and I called they secured me another preorder of the regular version then a month later cancelled that one and when I called again told me to qhote "look for it in stores on my next target shopping experience"... ridiculous!

This could be the normal Batman design but I’ll be using the three jokers Batman as mine. I had the same arm problem only with red son Superman. I have that same old Batman joker and penguin figures too. Be careful with language on here to not get demonetized.
