I think I fall in this category too. I came from Fusion 360. I tried Blender before it came out in the Windows style but I could never get a handle on it. When it came out in the current format I made the choice to ditch Fusion and go all into Blender. That was one hell of a big step out into the learning curve. (Still Learning) My focus is on model cars but it doesn't stop there I'd like my skill to be able to 3d print what I model, sounds easy but to get it to print the mesh must be perfect.

I have been using blender off and on for about 20 years at a hobbyist level. I recently decided to get back into it after the release of 4.0 and things are much easier than I remember. Starting out on 2.26 in 2003 was unbelievably challenging at 12 years old, especially since tutorial videos and the like didn't exist. I am also using add-ons for the first time in 20 years... I wish I used them earlier but I always wanted to fully understand the base program and its features first so I would understand what the add-on was actually doing. I just started the Hard Surface Modeling free course as it uses a workflow that I have never used... Booleans were always frowned upon years ago and I have mostly only used Sub D modeling over the years. After 20 years its like I'm learning all over again, great course!

Exactly.... BB has helped steer me in the right direction. I need lots of focus on Design and presentation and love to see the YT modeling tutorial with the presentation and post processing parts added to see how an expert artist thinks in the various projects they go through. To get a feel for the workflow and putting/applying the design principles in a real-time scenario. Each project brings out nuances you can't get from studying but by watching someone who knows what they're doing. Thanks BB.❤👍

I've been struggling a bit, figuring out how to reach the next level. This helps to clarify the path forward.

Excellent message again. I'm thinking about it in all Blender, Photography or Track riding sphere. That big little detail "don't work on what you are good at" is again inline with other great teachers.

that is very true , My problem is that I know the Blender UI but when it comes to modeling or design I get stock. In modeling when I want to model an airplane or anything for that matter I don't know where to start or how to approach the subject. I think I am hook on tutorials, because I cannot do something of my own imagination.

This is so true, great perspective. Design videos get significantly less audience.

Don't waste your time with these guys. They give you terrible advice to sell their addons. If you do pay for their stuff they spam you with emails multiple times a day. If you unsubscribe from their emails they will delete your paid account.
