Woah, I'm by the end of first year's summer and never got any of the resources by these little sprites xD I kept on unlocking things at the shrine without knowing what they were up to. My deepest thanks Josh!

So what I unlocked first was the winter shrine location then purchased a TON of leek seeds during my first winter so I could plant these and use sprinklers on them so I could just pop in there and grab some leeks for quick and easy money through-out the year, as leeks are the #1 best plant to sell due to the pay-out rate. Especially since my soil is maxed out and I’ve made good seeds with my current leeks to begin with. My eventual plan is to just have enough 10 Star leek seeds made that I can have those planted in place of the standard leek seeds from the shop in the winter shrine location. 1st winter, I planted 144 leek seeds and got 5-star leeks back at 3-4 leeks per planted leek in return... the payout was astronomical! Very well worth the 100 sprite points to ensure you get that kind of money any time you need it through-out the year. Thanks for all the great tips Josh, actually got this idea from your tip video.

its interesting to me how people choose their allotments. i have 100 in the animal care sprite for instance. he helped me through the winter when i couldnt grow fodder myself! :) ( i never buy it)

I have taken to leaving the grass and wood sprite with the lowest amount of helpers, and then the higher on the chef sprite then fishing sprite because i don't like spending time doing either of those. I spread the rest out to the others. Also the Wandering sprite shows up on Odd days for me I am not sure if its tied to your birthday or when you unlock the sprite village.

Food sprite is my most useful. Makes it so I can mine whenever I want or give away free gifts.

I've been working on getting the traits up to max so got field work, mining & the easy ones. So fishing haven't really done much of but always going to the fishing Sprite & collecting the fish & saving them for recipes lol. Completely FORGOT THE MUSEUM FOR FISH lmao! I 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I purchased it from the shrine, and have assigned follower sprites to it, but the head journey sprite isn't there. I tried on even days and on non-event days. Does anyone on here have any advice or suggestions? I don't see anything on the internet about this issue. Thank you!!

This is so odd! I tried looking it up but also couldn't find anything. There's really not that much information available and you have to figure things out by yourself. 😅 Well, I'm glad he's back from his journey!

@@JoshGamingGarden I think I was visiting the village after midnight, so that the calendar said an even day, but they do not show up at midnight, you have to go to sleep and go there afterwards on an even numbered day. Thank you for having looked into this. Hopefully my confusion, and figuring it out, might help someone else. Have a great day! :)

Am curious if the max limit of processors applies across all areas or if you can have more than 20 if you place them in the special areas

you will eventually be able to craft sprinklers, so they will water your crops for you freeing up time in the day to do other tasks

I believe the point is that it’s the only way to raise the level of the animal product and for what ever reason it didn’t occur to the developers that we would want to breed our animals for profit

@@chriscalvat it just frustrates me that i have to dump a chicken into the void for no other reason than that i need another, different chicken. selling them feels like a practical purposeful move as opposed to deleting chickens to clear up space. then suddenly you have max level chickens and the whole mechanic becomes totally obsolete and theres no reason to ever do it again

Josh how do we use bait on our fishing pole? And can we buy or upgrade to better poles?

Put the bait in your inventory, then press Y and it should give you an option to attach the bait. You'll see a little hook icon that confirms it worked! Next time you fish, it will use one of your bait and increase your probability of catching that certain type of fish. You can upgrade your fishing pole at Nigel's shop, just like the other tools.

I bought the North American version to play in English as well, but I can't change the language on the Japanese version so I have to start all over again. I'll try to make some videos in English but my save file is more advanced on the Japanese one!

The Journey sprite is only there on even dates (2-4-6-8-0 etc.). ☺️

(Nothing to do with the vid but) Question: Shouldn’t there be new adoptable animals each season (at least in the first year)?? Cause I’m my game it changed to summer now and I’m already 8days in but haven’t found a new animal 😥

Some animals only appear in certain sections of the farm and spawn there all year. Have you unlocked the second and third areas? The only summer specific animal is the sheep which I found in area 2 I believe. You can easily google and see all the animal options, when/where they spawn and the animal care level you need to adopt them.

hey josh, my water pump just stop pumping after fully drain a lake, and then when the lake full again the water pumper just not pumping, i've re-put it again and again but not working, do u know why? thanks

Good question! After it fills up again, the water will be clear blue for a few days (can't drain it), then eventually it will become dirty water again and you'll be able to drain. You just have to wait a bit, and also make sure there's coal inside!
