Thanks so much for putting up all the videos that you do. I purchased my harp back when I was 18 (never exposed to music) with hopes I would be able to teach myself in college. Low and behold not too many harp videos to learn from in 2012...I'm 26 now, and so thankful for content I can actually learn from. A slow long start but I'm here!

"Is this real life?" I love it! I remember I used to have the same bowled-over joy about playing violin and then playing outside.

How fun! Such special memories and how great to have your first harp love 💖 and teacher notes in early books. Thirty years! Congrats! (WE are the lucky ones that you stuck with it and continue sharing your talent and enthusiasm.) 👏👏👏

I really love the storytelling that you incorporate into Harp Tuesday (and other contents that you provide too). They provide context and meaning to the audience. I certainly feel compelled to look up Little Yellow Bird and play it after watching the video! And congratulations on 30 years of harp playing! 😊 Look forward to many more years of harp music from you!

Your enthusiasm for the harp is so sweet and absolutely contagious! I liked how you explained how you would read music by identifying patterns - I have been teaching myself and did not know if it was the 'correct' way to do it :)

"Dornröschen war ein schönes Kind, schönes Kind, schönes Kind..." In German, this tune is a children's song telling the story of sleeping beauty, I think there's 12 verses total.

Yes! We sing it with first-graders at Waldorf schools in America! (Well, I don't know about ALL Waldorf schools.)

This is so cute how you explain every little detail of this folk song. You're a great teacher! Btw. I wonder what German song this is ^^

Hehe, thanks! And an excellent question - I don't know anything about its origins...

This sounds a lot like the first part of "I Sent My Love a Valentine."
