Bought a lab mezz (regular) about a week ago! Can't wait til it gets here! Why did you end up going with the max over the regular mezz?

Yeah not really sure why there are two different models of the Mezz

@I am wrong but the mezz is the size of a normal mallet. The max, from what I can tell, the face is just as long as the directed force. The max is supposed to be more stable, and if I had to guess it was LAB's attempt to give directed force stability and forgiveness in a more normal looking putter.
