Just curious - are you using coated resonate heads on those toms? I can’t tell if the camera is playing a trick on my eyes, but that’s what it looks like to me. :o

Yes! They're Evans Reso 7s on the bottoms of the toms.

Want to improve your timming? Here it is.

Probably best timing exercise in the universe....nonuplets are very difficult ..unless you start around..50 bpm
@jimkowalczyk74663 жыл бұрын
are non tuplets 9? If so, I think about them as just triplets shoved into the space of 3 half note triplets in 4/4. Idk if that makes it harder lol, but thats the pulse I am relying on.
@jimkowalczyk74663 жыл бұрын
wait nvm, I am assuming you are just thinking of groups of 9 in the span of a quarter note, right?
@tubular1673 жыл бұрын
Hi..yes...nine notes in a quarter note are called...nonuplets...so of course its pretty fast if you start metronome at around 60 bpm...i would suggest starting at 40 bpm and working up to 60 bpm if you are going to add the nonuplets. To the exercise....after 60 bpm..it would get very difficult..lastly...nines are called...nonuplets......as apposed to the other divisions..which are tuplets
