In 2021, Meha's life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with stage 2 of aggressive Ovarian cancer. It was a lot to take in, and she had to undergo emergency surgery, leading to a challenging journey. She spent over 45 days in the hospital, had multiple surgeries, and experienced hair loss due to chemotherapy. Despite all this, Meha faced it all with determination and a never-give-up attitude, gearing up for the toughest battle of her life.
To get the necessary treatment, she moved from Siliguri to Delhi. However, this shift reminded her that her dream of becoming a mother might not come true. This realization saddened her, but her husband provided constant support throughout this challenging journey.
This experience taught Meha the importance of gratitude, resilience, and empathy. The scars on her body are a reminder of her strength, and she embraces her "chemo curls" as a symbol of self-acceptance. Even though it's been almost 20 months since her treatment, Meha still faces challenges but chooses to focus on living each moment with gratitude.
