I'm 5'1 girl and i hate being short. You are not taken seriously by people of any age. People call us midget in an argument. Nothing looks good at you and your weight gain shows easily than tall people. I'm so scared to be old that means like losing 2 or 3 inches. I try to ignore it but it makes me insecure every other day. You can't fight anyone because no matter how much you try to be strong you'll always stay weaker than tall people+ being a girl who are naturally less strong physically from men.

Then again ive known my bf since i was around 4 years old(he was 6), so maybe that overrides the height difference :)

I usually like people for who they are, but I appreciate height. I like being the short one because of a taller guy just makes me feel safer. I feel like I’m protected, where as a shorter guy I feel like I’m protecting him. I already am over protective of most of my friends, so when you’re so busy protecting everyone else... it’s nice to think that someone you care about can protect you. Especially if you’re like me and your safety is kinda put by the wayside for your friends. Sure, I’m still gonna be protective of my bae. If someone hurts him, they’re gonna hear from me. But if he can protect me, he can take care of himself. So I won’t be as worried.

"you dont have to adjust the car after she drives it" really feelin loved. i'm 14 and 5'8 and still growing. i'm not the tallest, but i still fit in that category. i was really insecure when i first started growing because of people like you who can rant on and on about how cute short girls are, but can't think of 1 good thing about tall girls that doesn't involve general convenience. tbh short girls don't seem to realize how lucky they are sometimes. most guys prefer short girls. you can complain about not being able to reach stuff & all that, but at least dating is easier. im rlly sorry if i made anyone feel bad, i don't mean to. all girls are gorgeous in their own way. of course, it's all preference. there are definitely guys who like tall girls, and sometimes the problem is that girls aren't willing to date someone shorter guys. it's just discouraging seeing people like him. if you can't think of any real perks to a tall girl, don't force yourself to make a video.
