I have thought that the US should end the drug war for at least 15 years. If drug production was legalized and purity regulations are implemented a big time drug habit could be affordable on a minimum wage job (in some places where housing is cheap). It would make the decision for addicts to become a criminal or victimize their family and friends easy to avoid and also end the drug cartels and southern border problems (just finish the wall). We would save the money we are wasting and generate tax revenue also. The downside is a lost generation of drug addicts who are already lost.
@EternalLegionGaming3 жыл бұрын
About the cartel part, they'll just move onto something else to make money. But if they aren't able to make money off the drugs, maybe it would be a good thing. That depends on what they would replace it with..
@joequixotic30393 жыл бұрын
@@Jake-bt3fc my point is the way to make it work is to destroy the black market with inexpensive quality drugs. Typically big pharma makes us pay through the nose but prescription quality opiates, speed and hallucinogens could be made at generic aspirin prices and marijuana should cost about as much as un-taxed tobacco cigarettes. If we could overcome greed once we can fix this.
@sevenwhatuknow3 жыл бұрын
Thinking that a wall will stop an influx of drugs or anything money can be made off of is a foolish thought
@joequixotic30393 жыл бұрын
@@sevenwhatuknow thats why you have to make drugs cheap enough that there is no profit for the cartels to make. That leaves the only illegal drug markets scumbags selling drugs to minors. That's not enough money to make the risk worthwhile for a cartel, especially if there is a big fence to deal with also. The whole thing trades a huge problem and unenforceable laws for a small problem and enforceable laws (no sales to minors). The drug problem in this country should be like moonshine and highschoolers paying bums to buy beer for them. Not that big a deal.

@@Revelation22_5 VERY common. You'd be surprised how many dealers are just addicts who can do math, and have a good connect. Most I've met don't even own a car. And the more successful dealers who do own cars are paranoid about getting them seized. Cops automatically seize any vehicle used in commission of a felony, so they'll use customers cars and pay then in drugs. Costs the dealers very little and the addicts are usually happy to give up their car for a day or two if it means free drugs and the dope man likes them more.

Fluke, the reality is very straight. You’ve endured a lot, and hopefully there will not be a recoil snap for you. If these emotional blade like things did actually pass through you with learning, awesome. If you’re still holding on to any of it work at getting all of it out because I can see you are a happy being if provided the right new varied, pleasant experiences. Don’t let the good new life be eroded by any of the bad energy vessels. They energy inside of them, or the soul, or whatever anyone wishes to call the force of life that is not the body, but gives the body advice, needs to give them that advice. No drug addict will choose clean unless they confront their spiritual enemy and energy riddle. Until their energy is advising your parents to experience clear life, you have full permission to avoid all of their energies.

To give some inside info from an ex heroin and meth addict (I’m over 4 years clean now) I always preferred heroin, but it makes you sleepy so you do the meth to keep you awake. Pretty simple. Really sad to hear this guys story. I don’t know what I would do if I was in that situation.
@austinpowers85503 жыл бұрын
I was a heroin addict for 15yrs. For maybe the first 2 years it might make me nod out an be sleepy but the last 13 years was me just using to not be sick and feel normal so I could make it through the day and not want to shoot myself in the head cuz withdrawal is the worst thing in the world to go through. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I don't understand how you could use meth on top of it to wake you up. I would be pissed cuz it would take away from heroin feeling. I used to love when it made me tired and nod out. That was the best feeling I've ever had in my life and why it's so physically addictive. Don't get me wrong I've done speedballs with heroin and coke but even that didn't make me wake up it basically just made the heroin feel stronger cuz your brain releases twice as much dopamine cuz of the cocaine.
