Here comes the flood again Watch it fall from the sky Feel it soak through my flesh and my blood Feel it burn in my eyes When I say how much more can I take? I know the water's rising up, watch the waves crest and break And though I've made nothing but a sound I fear that I may drown I fear that I may drown Here comes the wind again Cold that cuts to the bone Pack my bags and I'll head out the door Here I am on my own When I say how much more can I stand? I know my walls are falling down I left the rocks and chose the sand And though I've no one left to blame Still, I cursed your name I cursed your name So now the end What I've been running from Though I've tried I cannot lift my head Oh, what have I become? When I say how much more can I take? I know my time is running short, I am broken and I'll break And though I've worn myself so thin I'm coming home again And though I do not know my heart Well, I know myself down to my bones, but if my bones should come apart Then I'll have nothing left to give But if you take me in I'm coming home again And if you take me in I'm coming home again

Joshua I just want you to know you are my favorite artist ever. No if ands or butty buts about it. I listen to you when I’m happy, sad or in between. This has been one of the toughest years of my life but your songs have made it somewhat bearable. I’m glad to say I’ll be listening to you as long as God says it’s cool for me to stay on this floating rock. I hope to see you live someday. Listening to This is How it Goes while I’m writing this💜

It was like a desperate song longing to have some hope. Matthew 11:28-30New International Version (NIV) 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Come to Jesus. He's all you need.

Thank you for making this, A beautiful song that I can tell has lifted many peoples heavy thoughts, Best wishes to you, and everyone who reads this, I find myself searching for this type of music now, and can say it has left me happier after the tears have fallen, and wiser in my own thoughts and journeys through life. Sincerely to anybody who may find themselves in times of sorrow, and overwhelming pain, whatever this music may bring to you, I hope the flood leaves behind a flowery meadow, a new start, a new take on what use to be painful and perhaps lets you live with a little more peace. We can all be here for one another, and I genuinely believe that music and our ability to recognize rhythm, beat, and emotions comes by no accident, we were meant to feel love and pain. Music is here to bridge the gap between it all. I wish everyone a beautiful future, do good things, teach someone something new, hold a door open, ask someone how their day is, and most importantly, never lose hope in what good is left on our planet, you are the forefront of positivity, and it is up to us to keep it going.

a great song and vocal performance. But please listen to a song from the seventies called I know a heartache when I see one, specifically the chorus. It was performed by Jennifer Warnes. The chords and melody lines are very similar, almost identical. Very few people would notice by I have a knack (some say annoying) for pointing those things out. Absolutely love your stuff though!

"It's not that I don't want to stay. The problem is that I want to be with you so much that now that you aren't here, I feel like I am going to explode. I don't know how it happened but somehow, I gave the keys to my happiness to you and it's hard now. It has disturbed me to a level that I can't just keep going. My mental state has never been this much worse before. I want you to know that the moments I had with you are among the best moments of my life. I loved how our frequency and wickedness synchronized. We never planned it to happen but now that I think about it, I realize that something this good, nothing can resist its happening. I am glad it happened. I have to stop and take a step back. I have to fix myself and I have to get my keys back from you. The keys to my happiness. You may think I am a leaver and on some level, I may be but I have no other option. I have to find myself again which got lost in you somewhere. I hope if you ever read it, you will understand." ps. I loved you with my existence, buddy. - Your fellow wandering wonderer

I love the flood!!

great song. I really like the way you handle “when I say how much more….” where you pause a bit after “how” and then continue to “much more….”. So relax and hold the emotion so later have better expression!
