Joshua stole my heart then and still does every time I hear him sing. He was born to bring sweet passionate music to our ears. Talking about being born to sing, he’s a rare jewel. He is the best of the best performers in the singing industry today. We all know and I know he knows he was the best to ever hit the American Idol stage. Kudos to you Joshua. Still love you baby.

***** I had to respond to your accurate assessment of the down fall of "American Idol". It is a SIN that show committed when Joshua Ledet had the winning seat stolen from him. This young cutie pie has a great deal of Otis Redding gift of song in him. You don't find many voices like his it's a blessing that we should have heard from since the show. He has done amazing peformances check out the one he did @ the White House Soul Music show...it was OUTSTANDING. It's unfortunate that American Idol assigned the album production to Jimmy Livio??? who is not equipped to handle REAL TALENT. Adam Lambert has changed his image a bit which is why we are now seeing him on TV. Adam has tremendous talent to be reckon with also!!!!! Last season was one of the worst regarding talent selection. I couldn't watch it. Soul singers are a threat unfortunately to some viewers. Music breaks down racisim/homophobism. It's one language of ART/MUSIC/LOVE.

This is a bit of a stretch but for me Joshua has this sass about him that Etta sang this with its weird bc even though he is male it's still there but then those damn vocals and this arrangement is CRAZY.
