Top 10 idol Performers of all time. I mean think about it people - legitimate bonafide SUPERSTARS have come from Idol (some not even finale winners) and Joshua is right up there with the best. This is one of my all time faves - and Idol has given us some truly amazing moments. Glad it’s still around and also glad we can still relive some of these from the past. Even if some never have had the careers that they should have, being able to have once in a lifetime performance on the greatest singing “competition” of all time is priceless. No one can take that away from them.

The judges even said it a couple times that season to him that "its a God gifted talent." Who cares if he didn't win?? At least they know a gift from God is an unmeasurable force. The presence of God was flowing through him to show people how great the sound of heaven can be. Even though he didn't win in the competition, God will reward him with much more.

This was the season I gave up on idol. I don't know much about the technical side if music but I do know star when I see it. No one that season was on Joshua's level, and there were some of the best ever on idol that season. I never watched another episode after the show he was "voted off". I wish josh had taken a different path to fame other than A I. I think that's why he's not one of the biggest stars out there today. A I works great for some and not do great for others. Artist like josh have a shorter career life span anyway. Every time they perform lime he does, they leave a little piece of themselves on the stage. You can only dump your heart, soul, blood, guts and tears out like that so many times. Anyway, enough of my incoherent ramblings. Still wishing Joshua the best and keeping him in my prayers.

Josh is unbelievable- re listening this in June 2020. I couldn't take music industry seriously after not only that he didn't win but he didn't become a major global superstar. Jimmy truly messed this up. Whether cause he is black or other reason- the world is a tiny bit more dull for not having Joshua Ledet to listen to. I check his performances every now and then and think- it's not too late. All he needs is some good tunes..or some composer that truly gets good music... Hope Joshua finds a way. His voice is too good, his gift too amazing not to be shared with the world.

I thought the song was lyrically beautiful when The Bee Gees sang it, but it never moved me until Joshua sang it. He took an old Bee Gees song and added a new sound to it, this rendition would attract the 20 somethings and up! He's not a singer, he's an artist and that's so much more. The fact is that the Judges honestly wanted him to win. It's only up to the voting poll. And its predominately people who are not exposed to music like this, just mainstream music, which is sad. My generation is hooked on late 80s to 90s songs to early 2000s. It's sad we cant go back and enjoy these masterpieces . His voice is incredible, and it fully breathes a fresh air to the world of music. With Beuno Mars whose bringing back old school says of singing, I honestly think Joshua really started it all.
