I mean, to be fair, he's right. Mannadium is not bricky at all, literally half the deck is a one or two card combo, and the fact that fenrir leads into more gas than it does in actual kashtira is hilarious to me lol

Trif is truly the politician of YuGiOh. Does his best to speak extremely eloquently. Makes the most outrageous hyperbolic claims about the given topic (in this case his decklists). But god forbid you ask for the how 🤣. Josh was bang on when he said that the whole “talking so much without saying anything” is an art form! Literally like watching a political speech.

@Ironpecker

I think that Trif's biggest strength is that he builds decks in ways that aren't the standard, and he thrives in format where combo decks are strong and he has a lot of wiggle room in his decklist to adjust it with peculiar choices that work for him (like tons of extenders/starters, board breakers etc). Honestly being so mindful of your own strengths and playstyles you excel at is a kinda underrated skill, a lot of people try to optimize a decklist in a vacuum (which isn't a bad approach) but being able to fine tune a decklist to your playstyle needs while taking into account the meta is really impressive.

So i was there when it happened and i vaguely remembered how he played that game 3... he was under dweller the whole time and avoided playing the balls and started pick-pocketing the board/interruptions. he had samsara and both hearts/field spells in hand to pull it off. he just kept making plays which i don't remember unfortunately but i do remember he was played into super poly from the scareclaw field spell but kept playing. he had enough materials in grave to contact into astraloud (he popped one of the monsters to gain atk) and enough link materials on board to make a 4300atk accesscode talker which was able to pop 2 or 3 more cards (again i don't remember) because he had enough link monsters with different elements in the graveyard and still had the visas and heart monster in the gy to make another astraloud which pop JK's last monster and gain the atk by then proceeded to go into battle phase and go berserk. tear player was gassed out by that point. Edit: Econ was also used during this turn.

Stop asking how he did it. No ones gonna explain their 30 min combo on how he broke the board. The focus on the deck list is the cards and why he played them and he explained it just fine. For those roasting Triff saying hes a clown in the YT chat; then you try getting top 10 in a YCS. Triff is a great and entertaining player. Just because he isent so "serious" like you guys dosen't mean that he's any less of a player.

See, normally if you go one-on-one you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I’m a gifted duelist and I’m not normal. So you got a twenty five percent at best at beat me! And then you add Appalosa to the mix The chances of winning drastically go down. I love how in almost every deck profile we see pretty much the same cards 😂😂😂😂 the gameplan is most important. Stick to the gameplan. If only trif would tell us the gameplan

Ok then so for me right i have played this game for 20+ yrs now 15 of them now comp. And i for example win with budget techs or if you have the exp i do use your knowledge, for example sprite format (misspelled on purpose) i played encore as a hard counter to gigantic long before it was seeing play as i told my friends the deck at its core needed it to protect itself from nib and while i like trif and his entertainment value he brings he has yes to beat a player with more than i would say 10 yrs of exp. and while that is a lot i would say he has not played many skilled rogue players just my thoughts one more thing sorry if this is not clear i have a disability issue that affects my ability to use proper grammar and i am not home to use my special autocorrect tool

Clearly he bricked because his opponent cheated and stacked his deck. I dont play tcg so konami cant ban me for making that claim.

Making the most outrageous claims, saying so much while explaining so little. So he's kinda like Sam.

the one thing I don't like is how pro players don't like wide formats but they also don't tell people how to beat certain decks so those other 5 decks in the format that shouldn't be there are still there because they like to hold information for themselves.

In this case it's just Trif being shit at explaining things. But he did give us some info: 1. Build your deck so you can go first or second. Sacrifice win more card for card that can work going first or second (like putting the quick spell in the main deck even tough it's less impactful than Reframing). 2. Always bring Thrust and D Barrier when going first after game one, in case your turn is skipped because of high impact handtrap like Nibiru/Droll/Shifter, so you can also skip your opponent turn. 3. Side Herald of the Abyss because pro like Joshua and Pak for some reason really love using Purrely. This one is made up by me, but notice that his side only contain one targeted hate.

It really is an art-form. The way Triff speaks very much gives off Andrew Tate vibes and we just eat that shit up while screaming about Pend best deck.
