His approach to deck building is to maximize consistency and always have a way to play into boards. His priorities show up hard in how he plays and it's always fun to watch.
@Ironpecker11 ай бұрын
I think that Trif's biggest strength is that he builds decks in ways that aren't the standard, and he thrives in format where combo decks are strong and he has a lot of wiggle room in his decklist to adjust it with peculiar choices that work for him (like tons of extenders/starters, board breakers etc). Honestly being so mindful of your own strengths and playstyles you excel at is a kinda underrated skill, a lot of people try to optimize a decklist in a vacuum (which isn't a bad approach) but being able to fine tune a decklist to your playstyle needs while taking into account the meta is really impressive.

Edit: Econ was also used during this turn.

In this case it's just Trif being shit at explaining things. But he did give us some info: 1. Build your deck so you can go first or second. Sacrifice win more card for card that can work going first or second (like putting the quick spell in the main deck even tough it's less impactful than Reframing). 2. Always bring Thrust and D Barrier when going first after game one, in case your turn is skipped because of high impact handtrap like Nibiru/Droll/Shifter, so you can also skip your opponent turn. 3. Side Herald of the Abyss because pro like Joshua and Pak for some reason really love using Purrely. This one is made up by me, but notice that his side only contain one targeted hate.
