I think some combination of odd-eyes revolution with darkwurm and pend ced would be interesting in dlink. Revo being a free light for bystials that you can recycle immediately with ced for a second search is cool. Also you can use its scale eff to bring back dis pater and potentially even pend summon with the donut.

​@@ajs8685 because it turns any of your Runick QP spells (or any spell or effect for that matter) into a form of monster removal. Say your opponent has a field spell and a monster, you activate Runick Destruction to pop the field, then Slash will trigger to target and bounce the monster, and you can do this once per turn. Or Flashing Fire to pop one monster while Slash bounces another, it's not bad at all. Then there is also the fact your opponent has to be mindful as to when they activate any spells or spell effects during their own combo as to not lose a monster mid way through to Slash Lady.

Slash gives you a free bounce any time a spell or trap effect is activated. It triggers off all your runick spells AND when either regained or beast triggers. Scarlights nuke effect is good but its better in the TCG for going to time, which doesnt matter in MD.

The consinstency hits in a format with maxx c feel soooo boring.Either kill the deck or let it alive for a little longer. Being able to do the same plays less consinstent isnt gonna make it feel better to face just more sucky than before..... they hit consistency of older decks to sell packs for new decks i saw maybe 2 mannadium in my 200 games to m1 last season while dlink hasnt had to buy support packs for a year or so not good for business

as @moosik85 said, this is not about balance, it is about increasing player dissatisfaction when playing the decks they can no longer sell packs for, so people jump ship to the new shiny toy. Well, balance sometimes correlates with it, or hitting toxic stuff like stun, but the main reason for bans is to push new product.

Mannadium is a plague in the lower ranks. I couldn't play in the last months so I've been deranked to gold and the climb to diamond was miserable. First game I got into fucking gold 5 was Mannadium ending with 4 10 syncros plus the trap and Maxx C. Like, what the hell is wrong with this game. You'd think they are moving into the right direction with the Chaos Ruler ban, but they go and make decks like this.

I think the only viable way to play Purrely now is with the Ghostrick-engine. Only 150 UR CPs for the Ghosttricks, so better give Komoney even more resources, so your butchered deck stays playable.

The idea they were floundering to communicate is that in runick decks, since your ability to draw into them is what keeps the engine consistent and powerful, you need to be playing some large amount of runick spells, normally at least 1/3 of your deck. Which doesn’t answer your question in the first place. As far as I know Josh opts between dispelling, golden droplet, and smiting storm based on the matchups he wants to do well in vs the decks he wants to win against. For example if I’m up against Labrynth dispelling is going to put in a lot of work bc their hand gets small really fast, and that makes it more likely for me to snipe furniture as soon as they add it, whereas vs Mannadium, who eat through their deck really fast, I’d prefer to stockpile smiting storm for their 8-card boards and golden droplet, bc at that point my win condition benefits from them drawing.
