Seeing Landon’s name every time he’s in the shot, or Landon’s Shadow, when he doesn’t quite make it into the shot, cracks me up always! I love how your mind works Josh. You’re brilliant, talented, funny and half a bubble off plumb! All sterling qualities, although the daredevil in you makes me nervous.

Loved "The Walrus And The Carpenter"! You never know just what you're going to hear during your Vlogs.😁 With 6 kids, my Mum often quoted "Thick and fast, they came at last. And more, and more and more." (Usually around dinner time!🤣)

Loved the VLOG! AND - you unwittingly did me a huge favor by having the poem play while we watched you make the knives! Now I know I can't listen to a story and watch something being created at the same time! Been working on multitasking in therapy for my brain injury. Now I can watch this a bunch of times to work on it. Thanks for that!

Impressive how you merged so much variety into a shorter vlog. And it all flows nicely. Have you ever made metal blade knives from scratch? My dad made one. Then he collected push lawnmowers to use the blades for more knives. Never happened; just added to his hoarding piles.

Love your channel and enjoy watching your artistry and exploits. Take it from someone who's a lot older than you. No eye protection and no mask are NOT a good thing. Ask Ashley. Some of those exotic woods are caustic, even poisonous, when the particles are inhaled. You're young and you think you're going to be fine and live forever but trust me you are not. Every time you take chances like this it takes its toll. Diane, R.N.

Enjoyed this one! Haven’t watched the Vlog in so long, so I put this on while I was working on my colouring page. I really liked the addition of the poem in that one spot when you were all working in the shop. That looks like some good ice cream, if I was closer I would definitely go there. My favorite ice cream flavour is moose tracks- it’s PB fudge and chocolate so good. I’ll more likely go back and look at some of the other vlogs. New name, same person. If the knife breaks again in the same spot, take and drill a small hole on either side of the tang, on both sides of the break, and put a small length of brass rod in them, then epoxy. That should Add some strength to it.
@JoshuaAlexander138
@JoshuaAlexander138 Жыл бұрын
The tang is shorter than the break spot. But i suppose i could put a dowel through the handle from the back end. So far it works fine.
@scottstewart3884
@scottstewart3884 Жыл бұрын
@JoshuaAlexander138 I realize the tang is shorter. That's why I suggested a couple of pins, one on either side of the tang, bridging the spot where it broke. 4 small holes, 2 pins (dowels would probably work, but with how small the diameters would be, a metal pin would be stronger) & the epoxied break won't break a 3rd time. I hope it won't break a second time but if it does...
