Got these around mid July because I missed my Arya V2s so much after selling them over a year ago, read about what they were trying to do with these and was instantly sold before they were for sale. These are the best headphone I’ve had or listened to for all my music genres, I’ve tried almost everything sub $2000. I use a Mjolnir 2 and it adds even more smoothness to it.

Haven't heard the organic yet but I can tell you the 6XX aren't even in the same league as the Arya V3 Stealth. Excited to hear if/how the organic goes even higher. Disclaimer: sometimes I go back to my older Sennheiser stable and still appreciate their grainy, less detailed, but intimate, romantic, rosy qualities, which are maybe easier to listen to longer. Especially before bedtime. But in pure technical virtuosity an Arya vs a 6XX, it's like LeBron James vs. some athlete from the 1950's or something.

@@SmartToaster It's great still getting used to the large earcups but don't have any issues with the sound signature even though it is warmer than the DT1990. I thought the bass would be too much like the meze 109 pro's I had but its tight and controlled. The treble is also fun and soundstage is amazing. The stock cable is short(1m) so getting a custom one made for it. I haven't heard the other hifimans but coming from the DT1990 I can totally recommend it. I prefer the Organic with a more neutral amp like the thx887 where I prefer my warmer Jotunheim 2 with my DT1990. Keep in mind I'm still burning in the Organic.

It so happens I just recently did a direct comparison between the Arya Organic and the Audeze MM-500. I'm not a tech person and don't know how to do all that graph stuff; I just listen and determine which sounds better to me. The two were very close, almost a toss-up. However, the Organic emerged as the winner because the sound was just a little more "realistic" in certain details: the sound of drums and cymbals, for example. On the other hand, that Audeze comes in a nice (although plastic) carrying case with a storage bag inside, while the Organic just comes in a cardboard box.

I love my Hifiman HE1000SE, EQd. I've added a touch more bass and pulled back some of the higher frequencies until I achieved lots of detail with a wonderfully increased (width) soundstage. I now have the sound signature of the HE1000v2 Stealth (which IMO has the greatest tuning I have ever heard) but with that clarity that is known to the SE and the HE1000v2 Stealth simply cannot match. But the one thing that surprised me the most is the absolutely phenomenal, beautiful build quality of the SE. You can move it around as much as you want... not a single sound. 100% silent. Super adjustable on ear/head. And it simply feels and looks like an ultra premium piece of gear. When it went on sale from $3500 to $1999 for father's day this year, I jumped on it and the HE1000v2 Stealth. I loved them both for different reasons. EQd them both. Liked the HE1000v2 Stealth better without EQ. Its tuning was just perfect. The SE EQd though... unbeatable. Simply perfect to my tastes. Can't wait to find another headphone that makes me feel this incredibly satisfied when I listen to it. Because I will buy it immediately.

I have the 109 pro and recently had the stealth arya's and they are pretty close but the edge went to the arya's in Soundstage and bass. I only A-B tested for a brief time and was surprised that the 109's were close as it was. Close enough for me to send the arya's back because I wanted a planar to compliment my 109's. I'm currently looking into the he1000 V2 stealths or maybe even these organics now to purchase as the planar compliment to the 109's. The 109's definitely punch above their price point in build and sound quality, they are just tuned perfect for me.

@JoshuaValour thank you for the nice and complete video. Only one suggestion, when you are comparing against other models, yo repeat many times “this headphones”, and is very confuse to know if you are referring to the Arya Organic or to the other model which you’re comparing with. It’s much better if yo name both headphones. I really haven’t understand if you prefer the Arya Organic or the HD800 for example. So if the Organic is the best of both worlds between the OG Arya’s wide stage and massive height/scale but worse frequency response tuning and timbre, and the Stealth Arya’s better tuning/FR/timbre but loss in Stage/Height/Scale, then are you saying that the Organic does have a slightly smaller size in its Staging/Height/Scale than the OG? And if it is not quite to the same level as the OG Arya, do you think it is mostly due to the improvements in tuning, where the extra warmth would shrink the staging/scale/height or does it sound like it’s because of the new driver technology?

As far as everyone seems to be saying, yes the soundstage is slightly smaller than the the og Arya. The Arya line still punches far above its weight, including the V2. If you already have 4k+ top tier cans, then the Organic can play the role of best all-rounder. You can find V2s for 600-700 nowadays (or ~900 with a year of warranty directly from Hifiman), and considering its flaws can easily be corrected with EQ, along with it's still unique renowned staging, it was a no-brainer to me 😁

Bruh come on. The Arya Organic is more pleasing than the He1000 but later on you say the TC is better than the Organic it's just "more expensive". I'm not even an Abyss hater (nor do I give a crap that they sell cables for several thousand) but their headphones are not only incredibly overpriced, they sound like complete trash. The Susvara can have monster ear smashing bass, but it requires a lot of power. It starts with a great speaker amp like the Benchmark AHB2, and goes uber-Godzilla-slam with two AHB2s in monoblock. Its a little scary though with 400 watts per channel hooked up to your ear drums via a pair of headphones. But if you love slam, thats how you can get it with the Susvaras. With weaker amps it sounds like someone unplugged your subwoofer.

I was so hyped for this BUT I think you could get some sort of musical training or ear training. 1st you mentioning the he1000v2 so many times 2nd calling the HE1000se “intimate sounding” that’s king of crazy, I’m pretty sure he didn’t compared, probably he did hear it few years ago and just by memory now. 3rd calling the clear smooth and sound staging 4th maybe you don’t like the HD800S but literally even a deaf person knows that is the king of soundstage, is not close with the Arya, at least 40% more on the 800s, no competition mate 5th the obsession with vocals inside his head. Have this guy ever been in a concert or at least a gig. Singers are meters from you, normally 6th have you ever been in a concert hall? That’s what the 800s is recreating not instruments inside anybody’s head. 7th susvara, wow maybe you didn’t like it but wow, just wow I don’t need to say anything, just deaf 8th the only opinion I agree 100 is the MM500, and probably because you haven’t heard it yet 9th the way he can talk with so much confidence without understanding the philosophy of each model, or just plain not getting them at all (800S) I recommend a review of a newer he1000se, they don’t sound similar, the newer revision is much much better. Don’t research just ask for it to them. Thanks me later Some KZbinrs can be dangerous for the some companies or even the industry, I think we give to much power to this guys.

I have the original Arya and Focal Elex. I think I'm going to sell both and get an Arya Organic and a Focal Clear. The one thing I don't like about my Arya's is they are a tad too bright for my taste. I can EQ them with a low frequency boost shelf and a high frequency roll off and that gets me in the ballpark where I like them, but it sounds like the Organic fixes both problems. I love the dynamics of the Elex and the 'house sound' of Focal (I LOVE their car audio speakers!), but it also seems like the Clear's are more refined while extending the bass and smoothing out the highs - which is exactly what I'm looking for. I had a pair of HD800's and sold them because they lacked bass and had uneven treble that I found fatiguing. I have a pair of Neumann NDH20's that I use for audio mixing (keeping) and I actually have a Stax L300 Limited and SRM-D50 energizer that just sits on my desk and is never used, so I'll probably sell them too.

The Arya Organic has a lot of upper treble. More than the Arya stealth. But the Organics 5khz region is more smooth. Basically peoples impressions of the treble of the Organic vs older Aryas depends on if a person is more sensitive (or notices one more than the other) to lower vs upper treble
@BSD2000
@BSD2000 Жыл бұрын
@@bigsamiabs8416 I find my original Arya's to be a bit too treble forward. I recently purchased a Hifiman EF400 DAC/amp and I find that it did help somewhat when using the NOS mode. I also use an EQ to tame and slightly tilt everything above 15Khz down a dB or so. What I'm hoping the Arya Organic brings is smoother, less aggressive treble and a touch more sub bass. The original Arya's are also very power hungry, which limits the amps I can use with them; although given enough power, they do sound fantastic.

I’d wager it comes down to what kind of gaming you’re doing. If you’re playin fps games a majority of the time, the 800s is generally considered the best choice for its WIDER soundstage. Can’t really speak for the organics just yet (i’ve got a pair coming very soon!) but purely anecdotal, i’d imagine they’re preferable for a more immersive experience, we’re talking large single player games or more cinematic experiences for example, can’t give you anything exact unfortunately

I have HD600s but they're old and worn, DT770 and 990s, which I found too much bass for gaming, even my XR2 Phillips are too heavy on bass. Arya Stealth was my favorite headphone, but I had to return it due to pain inside my ears. I tried everything from drilling bass ports in the pads (to release bass pressure), to EQing, and nothing seemed to make a big difference. It was a very sad day when I returned them, and so far nothing matched their airy, magical soundstage and feel. What are the chances that the Organics would be any different? Is it the oval earpad design?
@LastAphelion

Yo you're the first person I've come across since researching headphones to buy to say this that reminds me of my own situation, I didn't realize till a few weeks ago that I found what other people call normal or good sub bass painful and fatiguing for me, because I used a HD579 for 6 years which has no sub bass stock but enough mid bass that I didnt find painful and plenty of punch but they otherwise sound very open and easy to use all day. When I finally learned to eq them which added sub at the same time I bought the hifiman XS I realized that I hated sub bass. Because it HURTS. It feels like wind buffet in a car window being punched into your ear hole. And it overwhelmed all the upper range and detail for me, the sound level I wanted it at to hear the upper range clearly- the bass would be overwhelming. Yes it can sound impressive, but I literally have to eq all the sub bass out of things now when the content has it So I currently had returned the XS because no way could I wear them for even a few minutes eqed plus a faulty left jack port that felt jenky and not secure (though I need to learn how to eq more of what I need to target) and got the Ananda nano next hoping they are less sub, more upper and detail focused like they claim.... Also eyed the Organic but out of my price range and if I cant eq bass if needed on nano then I dont know what go with next... back to my sub deleted 579s then for life lol Maybe were just ultra low frequency sensitive I dont really see other enthusiasts talk about it

Sounds like these might be great headphones for pleasure for many genres. I have LCD-5's coming in a few days and I am using an RME 2/4. I am boosting the bass +3.0 which is a bass shelf. Maybe I start to dial in the EQ with the graphic EQ latter. I hope the LCD-5 will be great for mixing and mastering and the bass boost should make it feel a little more flat. Also more pleasure when the songs have been mixed and mastered well. It might show a lot of mistakes on poorly done recordings. I might still get these organics to listen for pleasure and the focal Stellias for a great set of closed backs. These might not even add to what I already have...Arya Stealths, 2 sets of Focal clear MG's, DT 1990 and 1770 Pros, AKG 720, AKG 271, DT990, closed headphones for drumming extreme iso's, vic firths, Etymotics in ears and some less expensive closed backs. I hope the LCD-5's are my end game for a few years, Then maybe Stellias for closed backs, and maybe organics for pleasure. I like the clear MG's for hearing details and punch, all of the phones sound nice through the DAC / AMP RME 2/4, very clear and detailed. Are the Organics and Stellias a good addition?
