I watch this sometimes bc I miss hearing his voice he was my cousin but I loved him as if he was my little brother since he passed I haven't celebrated Christmas and ik it's not what he'd want but I take Christmas Eve and the day of as a time to remember him and to reflect on the time we shared together but watching this video I cry a little each time bc I miss him so much. I was coming home on leave from California and when my parents picked me up from the airport I knew something was up with them but they waited until we go home to tell me he passed. I wish I would've been able to take leave a day sooner so I could've seen him one more time. That still gets me I was there I landed and looking forward to spending time with him like we have every year we had a tradition we'd do each year but his passing has left a hole during Christmas time well really any time and I'm not sure will ever be filled.

I was fortunate enough to have had the chance to meet Josiah on a few occasions over the past few years. His love of not only life but baseball as well spoke volumes of the kind of person he was. He never was one to talk about the adversity that he was facing, he just lived in the moment and appreciated everything around him. Thank you Josiah for showing me and so many others what it truly means to love the game of baseball and appreciate all that life has to offer.
