I know I will becoming unpopular now, but people shouldn't be coming to the Netherlands anymore. We have so many refugees these days, and no housing!!! If you come, don't expect there are houses available. Citizens here have to wait 10 to 15 years before getting their own home. Children live in with their parents until in their 30ths. Home rents 1000 to 2000 per month. Rooms for students aren't available either! And those there are, are extremely expensive!!! (700 till 800 euro's per month) The Netherlands aren't allowed to build many houses because of the CO2. So don't come! Life has become very expensive in the last year. Prices of food have almost doubled!!! Gas prices are going through the roof! A good insurance for health care will cost you ast least 150 euro without dentist costs. You have a own risk of 370 euro's per year. Cars aren't affordable either, because seconde hand good cars are hard to come by because of the transition to electric cars. The Netherlands will become a country for only the rich people! So don't come!!! I would that expats like Josepine stop selling the Netherlands to others. It's not the paradise they make you believe it is.

Thank you for sharing your video on my beautiful dream country. I lived in Amsterdam, enjoyed the fun and beautiful landscape, dams, dukes and sluice gates, outside the large cities and seaports like Rotterdam. Is the Euro Mast Tower at Rotterdam still a land mark ? My school,Delft University of Technology, with its Hydraulics Laboratories, has trained several Nigerian experts in the Water Resources /Supply industries. Netherlands, a Country always at war with the sea.

I'll be moving for studying, but I got a little anxious when u said that working full-time and supporting the studies from the income is not very possible. Can you make a video on what jobs are available for skilled people while studying? Will I get a well paid part-time job as long as I am skilled already? And do you think students in Amsterdam can survive based on a part-time job income? Great videos, I watch all of them! 💕

Hi hi, I was addressing payment of the school fees with the income from work. I think if you’ve already had your fees sorted, you can earn enough to take care of living expenses. You can also save up some money during the summer when you can work full time. For part time role, it depends on the job, if the part time job is in a sector that pays high hourly rates say the tech industry then you’re likely to be paid well. In other case, you’ll be paid same as others I think. It just depends on the job.

Hello, I'll be completing my masters studies in Poland soon and I got an ERASMUS+ programme for internship which I plan to do in The Netherlands and it will last for only 2 months, I've tried to talk to few recruiters I met online for a job but I've not been able to get any yet, if you can recommend a recruiter fir me, I'll really appreciate. Also I plan to stay permanently after the internship, I don't know if there's a possibility. I'll be very glad if you can make suggestions for me, thank you.

hi. thanks for this video a few questions please 1) if I get a HSM visa , what type visa would my husband and child get? would the sponsor company full out that application as well or this is something we have to do separate 2) can you change companies under hsm visa or you have keep working for this 1 company? 3) what if this company lays you off what happens to your visa? can u look for another job?
@josphineogugua
@josphineogugua Жыл бұрын
Hi Swanky.. your partner gets a family of HSM visa. He/she is entitled to work full time just like the HSM visa. Your kids also get same. You have to ask the sponsor if they will fill out application. Most times they do if the whole family is travelling at the same time from a country outside the Netherlands. But if the company doesn’t, you can apply for your family separately and pay for the application fees. You can change company but the company you’re changing to will have to sponsor you if not you may need to leave the country. Also it’s important to check the contract and make sure there is no clause stopping you from leaving the company that sponsored you first. If they lay you off, you have I think 180 days to find another HSM job that will sponsor you, if not you may need to leave the country.

Hi Josphine, I am 33 yrs old and I have enrolled for an executive masters program in the Netherlands. In my understanding, to stay in Netherlands after my orientation visa, I would require a visa sponsorship job. If I managed to get one, I will get a HSM visa. In this case will I be eligible for 30%ruling?
@josphineogugua
@josphineogugua Жыл бұрын
Hi Anett. From my understanding, you won’t be eligible because you would be employed from the Netherlands. I think 30% rule apply to those employed from outside the Netherlands.
