But in Nigeria retail is exclusively for the citizens. You can't work on any government establishment or any private sector. The truth is, if the government enforce a law the citizens relax, it's only when the government fails then the citizens take the law in to their hands. That's what happened in Ghana.

sometimes I could see some Ghanaians complaints and comments about this Nigerian guy who calls himself THE IGBO KING OF GHANA. However, I have never seen anyone asking about his status or citizenship in Ghana. I have heard that he's lived in Ghana for the past 26 years. If it is true, don't you guys think he being who he is, possess or have legally acquired a Ghanaian citizenship? If he is now a law abiding Ghanaian, what is the big deal about his so called title?

For your information ECOWAS is not a sovereign country and therefore its laws DO NOT super-cede that of any ECOWAS member country's own local laws. This is why your country, Nigeria, sent packing Ghanaians and other ECOWAS nationals during the so called "GHANA MUST GO" episode in 1983 regardless of ECOWAS. Do your research on ECOWAS rules, and you would easily find out that, it DOES NOT give any ECOWAS member citizens the right to re-locate to another member country permanently without the due process put in place by that targeted country of sojourn.
