Everything about this song says "mean greedy fatass up to no good." It mostly has to do with the baritone of the sax that gives it a nasty almost "farting" sound. Plus the heaviness of the drums and that mischievous but jazzy piano symbolizing Wario's charisma, manipulation, and love of wealth/fancy things.

This is what Nintendo does best. Make the character’s personality reflect their music. Mario’s themes are upbeat and happy. The classic hero. Luigi’s are 8-bit. Off putting and eerie, but still catchy. Wario’s theme is jazzy. Stand offish. He is moody and has a certain level of an attitude. His themes are the opposite of Mario’s. While Mario’s is classical and upbeat, Wario’s are moody and jazzy. Because he’s the anti-hero. His song is representing his personality.

A Wario World/Land game on the switch sounds like a no-brainer. If you think about it, Wario games were mainly on hand-held consoles from the very start anyway, so why not put him in a new game on a brand new hand-held/home console hybrid? It just makes sense considering that most of Nintendo's juggernaut IP's already have games on the Switch, and they typically only release games for those franchises once per console; so it's pretty much time for them to fall back on some of their other lesser IP's now.

Honestly the best Wario is a mix. Going all in on only any one of his aspects makes it not Wario. He's goofy, but not weak. A little macho, but not overbearingly so 'cause he doesn't really care. Kinda gross, but not 24/7 or even on purpose. Greedy, but... ... ... ...okay, there's probably no limit to this one. But yeah, Smash definitely gets his character wrong. Like it does with lots of its fighters.

​@@just1randomguy658 I think the Switch has handled Wario pretty well, they've overall leaned much more towards his more greedy macho yet very comical side, alongside stuff like giving him his shoulder bash back, and the WarioWares straight up reference Wario Land pretty nicely, and he's again a very avid treasure hunter looking for a chance to go on an adventure for treasure, and the farting has definitely taken a backseat fortunately, he's still gross, but no way to the extreme of the late GCN/early Wii era, even in that regard he's more varying and comical, compared to the late GCN/Wii era where the Mario spinoffs would very often make him fart as his special for gags, which ironically the actual Wario games hardly followed, just a single microgame in Smooth Moves at best xd

Sure I like the idea that you have to react fast to 80s mini games to survive which is cool at first. But for a Wario game and as a fan such as myself. I find it quite disappointing. Wario Land series was such a fun weird gem of being overly fat, floating like a balloon, stuck in a floating bubble, became a vampire, zombie, or catch on fire and more. A series where you play a greedy version of Mario that is underrated.

TheDarkYoshi64 Hey :) Well, I made it like this: WW Gamedisc > WW Game.iso | On Wii with cleanrip WW Game.iso > WW Game folder on PC | With dolphin and Gamecube ISO Tool bgm folder in WW Game folder with the .dsp files > all converted to .wav | With vgmstream And to get them on KZbin the .wav files have to be in a video format. Upload was mp4. Some uploads seem to be mono because the .dsp files come in pairs. For example this track is called Wario in the Gamefiles with the files wario_0.dsp and wario_1.dsp for left and right audio channel and theyre method only uses one Channel. I wish you coud listen to the .wav or the raw .dsp files. They are even clearer. ;) KZbin has sadly only 192 kbit/s for Audio. Maybe one day it has at least 320 kbit/s and/or lets you upload .wav directly. Then i think its time to upload the entire WW OST again, right? :D happy new year btw ;D
