This is the boss I was stuck on the longest. 10 year old me just didn’t have the object permanency to follow him on that last phase where the cups move super fast. Arena would get swarmed with enemies and I’d eventually run out of continues… Oh the memories…

Fun fact, wario’s head actually follows what cup the dude is in, so you basically just have to stand still and attack the one wario is looking at when they stop

0:35-0:45, 0:56-1:09 and 1:10-1:23 are probably my favorite parts of the whole song.

Something I realized just now, throughout the fight you can notice Emcee's a pretty nervous guy, getting startled each time Wario attacks him, he being very easy to interrupt, he hiding away after he's been punched enough, his most common attack being a "get off me" kinda deal, his Shaggy looking tiptoe walk, etc., and he staying inside the cup for the last stock despite you guessing right, after he's been playing fair throughout the fight, he's not actually cheating out of malice as someone would imply, but rather the poor man's grown to fear Wario so much he refuses to let go and get out of his only hiding spot lmao xdd

The Mean Emcee has a very uncanny look to him, in that he's weird but not that weird, to the point where it's mildly unsettling. Also it's annoying to have to knock him out of the hat, even when you correctly guess at Three-Hat Monte.

Not sure. Just fought him this weekend and got the shuffle correct each time, so it ended up being a very easy fight. But I can imagine that it would be an extremely difficult boss for someone if the cups moved too fast for them to reliably track.

I wish it still spawned minions despite you guessing right and knocking a skull off him, the fight is super easy if you can guess the right cups every time, and it would fit the fight more because the boss' a scaredy cat that often runs away and hides from Wario, makes perfect sense he would summon minions to further distract him
