Diego Brando is from part 7. That's all you asked for, that's all you'll get. 😛 And those scrolls only appear on the battlefield when a part 7 character is being played. And only part 7 characters can pick them up. If they get them all, they get a character specific buff for as long as they are holding them.

Dunno if anyone else has said it yet, but the "scrolls" as you called them can only be picked up by part 7 characters. They only spawn when a part 7 character is in the match.

The things on the ground can only be picked up by Johnny Joestar, Gyro Zeppeli, Diego Brando, and Funny Valentine. So only part 7 characters can pick it up, if you haven’t noticed the items only appear on the map when part 7 characters are used. (I’m only saying this to not spoil you)
