this video is actually very encouraging because i tend to procrastinate journaling a lot out of pure perfectionism, so seeing someone actually make mistakes or not figure things out immediately on the first try, and still end up with a book that looks really nice (AND enjoy the experience instead of being riddled with anxiety) is very comforting

Hi Megan, Would you consider making dividers for filofax such as month, weeks, commonplace, health, and notes? I also think some gloomy bookmarks would be cute. I love your illustrations and feel it would be a great addition to the printables you offer. ❤️

I am not autistic, but I have been through a rought time emotionally recently, and your vidoes were such a comfort. I am looking forward to Saturdays for each new one, whatever they are. 🥰Also, your taste in music is top notch. 🤟😎 And having a second Nirvana-album just in case is never wrong. 👍😂

I actually enjoy very much this kind of videos. And tbh, most of the time I am working when you upload so I have you making me company while I try to survive another day on the corporate world while being neurospicy. So, I am not opposed at all to videos like this at all. You know? I have been feeling exhausted too, I feel like in my case is because I don’t do well during spring and summer, I actually get physically ill during this season, heat is just not agreeable with me. I guess it is my own brand of seasonal depression 😅 I hope it all goes well on your medical appointment, hopefully you get a diagnosis and a solution. I sent you the warmest of hugs and the best vibes.

I absolutely loved this video. I love long/unedited types of content. I listened like a little podcast and journaled along with you. I know you have been struggling but I don't find it annoying to hear you talk about your life troubles. I find it very comforting. As an autistic person who is also struggling quite a bit it feels good to know I am not alone. These longer talking videos are like little chats/hangouts and it is nice. I hope your doctors appointment goes well. - Juni

I’m so sorry you’re struggling with the intense sleepiness. I hope you get answers soon. This week, I found out I have lupus. Here’s hoping your doctor will be a lot of help ❤️‍🩹

You sound much better this week. Glad to hear it. What you described about your experience with doctor's sounds very similar to the experience in America. That you have to pre-emptively build your own case for why you should be believed in the first place rings so eerily close. I hate that you have to do that, but it is also clear you've been there before and are thus preparing appropriately. Take care Megan!

Best of luck to finding out your ailments. I have had a really traumatic medical history as well over the passed 5 years. I understand what you mean with medical gaslighting - and I was told I had anxiety, and I ended up being diagnosed with MS. I know what it’s like to have profound fatigue. Just thinking can be very difficult at times - let alone doing anything physical. I hope you feel better asap! You will come out of this ❤️

something that might help you out is looking into the seven (/different) types of rest, sometimes there's more to exhaustion than sleepiness. not saying it will fix your drowsiness! I've just noticed you talked about needing rest but needing to do routine things as well, so maybe finding some restful not-nap activities might help with those kinds of days. I personally learned that mental and emotional rest was the main factor in my chronic exhaustion/burnout.

I bought your printables to start journalling (cuz bujoing from scratch hasn't been working for a few years, so i've had artjournal and a very basic diy planner which had no decoration at all just todolists.. but i tend to only hyperfocus on one of them at a time so i'm hoping this will help) so i'm journalling along with the video on sensory nice thick creamcolored paper. Very cozy! I'm in the middle of planning a move even though I'm also still in the middle of an autistic burnout (so I relate a lot to the drowsiness you're talking about, even if it's not quite the same I'm also struggling on staying consistent in routines I really want to keep, partially due to energylevels but also due to brainfog)

I am a retired midwife, as far as being patronized by providers that is an understatement. I used to tell the women who I served in birth, that they have to see their providers as their employees. You are paying your doctor as in you are the boss. And yes you’re right you are living in your body. They are not and what they know they know because of books and experience, but those books in those experiences may not have anything to do with the kind of body. You are living in and the experiences you are having. It’s a part of the whole medical system. They are patronizing because they are patronized and it goes on and on, but just remember you are paying them you are hiring them to give you help. And as far as what you’re experiencing physically I can’t help but hope that it’s just a part of a phase and that it will go away. There’s so much stress in this world right now and we don’t really understand the long-term effects of stress not feeling good only adds to stress. I wish you brighter more week days.

Loved watching you journal in real time. I hope you get answers soon on the sleepiness issues. I imagine they’ll first check for thyroid issues and vitamin deficiencies, but if those come out negative, definitely advocate to get a referral to a sleep doctor. Many times doctors will brush off sleepiness as depression. Anyway, this was such a lovely video and I’ll probably replay it later when I sit down to do my own journaling. Take care! I’m off to take a nap.

Love the start to this series ❤ Do you think maybe you have a sleep disorder? I ask because I have sleep apnea and before I was diagnosed I was always so tired. An incredible amount of tired, like you described. And I would fall asleep sitting up having conversations. No matter how much extra rest I would get it was never enough. Because my sleep wasn’t sleep, I was constantly waking up just slightly because I couldn’t breathe but I didn’t know I was waking up or not breathing. I just thought I was tired.

I suck at napping. I want to be able to actually take 10-20 min of sleep and then waking up feeling better, but instead i have to go through a full sleep cycle or I'll feel even worse than when i started. I do love sleeping and falling asleep is easy, but i dont get recovered from it if that makes sense. I also dream so much and real at night, that it feels like another half day have passed instead of actually resting.

"Make a tracking diary and bring to your gp, they love it /s" No but fr lmao My entire medical experience is doctors getting pissed at me for being observant and curious about my problems. Save for one literal doctor, they all treated me like shit for bringing notes and trackers about my problems lmaooo I had a psychologist that called me a "difficult patient" to my face(!) because I brought notes on my mental health history and asked questions about his approach to therapy. I hope you can figure out soon what's going on! Fatigue and brain fog really sucks. Wish you the best!
