Love this and your channel!! I take so many notes!!!!! I usually just washi tape in any paper in the seam and it's easy to still see the text. Also transparent sticky notes are truly the best. Seriously thank you for your channel!! It's nice to see others taking notes and it's super inspiring.🎉❤

Thank you for sharing a great idea. Other options to make your own post-its: colored paper (regular, card stock, even construction), notebook paper, or graphing/grid paper.

Love transparent stickies and washi tape for mine!

That’s a great idea, I just use a simpler way called two sided strip tape on a roll and it’s easy to just run it on a little piece of paper and it works perfectly. Less messy as well. Not sure if you gave that a try yet. But I really do like your idea with the transparent tape for flipping up the note! That is a great idea.

I have tried it but it's *way* more expensive! It also doesn't work as well for me. Even repositionable glue, which is more cost effective than the tape, is too sticky compared to a post it, in my opinion! Maybe it's the two brands I tried, but parts of my bible page were ripping off when I tried to move the faux sticky notes I made with repositionable glue and tape. And then price wise, which is always the top priority for me: I was able to create 196 three inch sticky notes using a $11.31 roll of repositionable adhesive tape I bought at WalMart vs 800 three inch sticky notes using a $3.74 pack of sticky notes and gluing them to printer paper! Remember I cut the glue part of the post it in half to use so I create two new sticky notes from one post it! I tried to cut the repositionable tape in half but it kept sticking to my scissors and getting glue all over them 😬 There was also the added 50 cents of the Elmer's glue 4 pack I bought so glue the printer paper to the post it, so the grand total was $4.25 for 800 sticky notes. That's something I can afford!

I started trimming down my transparent sticky notes a short while ago. I realized that they had the sticky part farther down each sheet than the normal paper notes have, so I rarely used them until I had that "duh" moment. I don't glue another sheet of paper onto the sticky part, but that's a great idea! I have a question for you, though, if you don't mind. What pens are you using to write on the transparent notes? I have the standard black pen that is recommended for use on the transparent notes, but I noticed that you used colored pens on your titles. Could you please let me know the brand name so I can buy some to add to my stash? Thank you.

See, that's so smart! I am just realizing I should trim the sticky part of my regular post its to stick in my bible margin, too! About pens, I just use the cheapy WalMart pens! I use Mildliner highlighters and knock-off Mildliners called Maike Depot highlighters that I found on Amazon for half the price of Mildliners.
