Hi Marlies, I am wanting to make a vintage photo journal with old photos of my relatives and I love this style of binding. Could you tell me if you sewed the signatures together before you slipped them into the cover binding or if they are just folded together? Thankyou! 💜

All the pages are loose & only folded,so you can easily slide them in & out of the journal

Have you also used the Distress Markers? I have a number of them and wonder if I really need these pencils. Do you think the pencils do something above and beyond what the markers do?

I do not know exactly....It was quite a thick paper that was given to me by a copy/print shop, so I don't know any features of the paper.
