I like more talking. There's so many ASMR channels. It's nice to have a journaling channel where there's talking cuz we get to see more of a persons personality and some of their motivation to journal and why you do pages a sort of way.

Definitely like more talking, your voice is so soothing!!! Even with the sounds in the background, but I enjoy watching your vids, just brings a sense of calm while I journal, and that's hard as I have ADHD so my mind is always racing, but you definitely sooth the soul, so I like your vids with talking. Maybe upload one with narration, and upload one without that's just the sound and music? Might be too much work but thats one way to keep all parties happy I guess 😅 keep up the great work!

I can relate, I also have ADHD and its' been a challenge since I no longer can take medication for it (I'm still breastfeeding my son). But, journaling does help me calm my mind so I know how it feels to find something that helps slow things down in your head. I'll definitely stick to more talking next time, thank you so much for your comment and your kind words! I'm glad to have you around :)

When it comes to journal with me videos I am not as interested in the reasoning behind the journal spread. I watch for the process and the final outcome. But I admire you for having the courage to put your voice on the internet.
@camiscottage3 жыл бұрын
You hit the nail on the head. That is EXACTLY why I wanted to test out the ASMR on this video. If I were going to do another JWM with narration, it would most likely be about the topic in journaling (the prompt or journal entry) as opposed to the reasoning. Would that be more interesting? Would love to know your thoughts! Thanks so much!
@hayrjohns3 жыл бұрын
@@camiscottage I think I'd like a video that had commentary if it were about something I could relate to or start a conversation about. Personally, I like to talk about psychology and philosophy with my friends. I'm not suggesting that you change what you write about to fit my preferences. I am just curious as to what would happen in the comments if you talked about things in a grander, more general sense. For example, If I filmed a journal spread about how I got frustrated with my hair one day, I may not want to discuss the specific details of this event. Not everyone has my hair or bad hair days so it might be boring to them. Instead I may want to talk about frustration itself and how it effects me, my day, or the people around me. That is the sort of thing I'd like to listen to. This is all my opinion of course.
@camiscottage3 жыл бұрын
@@hayrjohns haha I think I just wrote an answer to another comment saying if I was going to have a voice over in my journal with me’s, it would be less about the journaling and more about the entry. Just like your example. I mainly journal to a) memory keep and b) reflect. So most of my entries start off with what happened that day and then goes into a more philosophical approach. I’m also low-key wanting to start dishing out some journal prompts at the end of the video so I can see what you guys end up with too! 🥰 I’m so glad you wrote this bc it really builds confidence in my intuition. Thank you 😍

I’ve never ordered from AliExpress before. The prices look super low! Do a lot of people order from there for their stationary? 😲
@camiscottage3 жыл бұрын
The prices may be low, but the shipping is what gets you, unless you live close to China. That's why I had to wait for a huge sale (black friday) and also buy everything all at once, from as few shops possible. It was hard to find shops that had everything I was looking for. I'm not sure if a lot of people order their stationery from there, but I have seen the same stuff on AliExpress on Etsy stationery stores, so I'm assuming they buy wholesale from Ali and sell it in their shops. The only reason why I bought from Ali this time is because I was finding the same things on there in the Etsy shops, so it was a very specific reason. I suggest browsing the shops and if you can find a lot of items from one store, go ahead and make the purchase if similar items are more expensive elsewhere. Thanks for your comment and your question :)!
