I have worked in Somalia and i have travelled all over somalia more than i have travelled kenya, i have flown low and fast(they wont see you or hear you coming. By the time they see you you have disapeared in them arcacia forest) the vast somalia landscape. Country is beautiful,FYI somalia have wild horses incase you ddnt know

Flying low means the enemy will only have a glimpse of the chopper for a few seconds before you disappear on him. Flying high means the enemy will have plenty of time to see the chopper flying, aim, target, lock on you and fire before you disappear from his field of view.

Fly low fly fast. I have flown alot on the nothern part of Somalia me anf my crew were based in Garowe town and Hargeisa in somaliland. We used to fly low just 10-20 mtrs above ground

This is not true.. I rem very well the only news anchors we had were males and they are they ones who got to experience the war, hawa unless they were traveling with wakubwa but they were not anywhere close to all those towns captured in Somalia , Afmadow was a no go zone, the town was captured by the rangers elite forces ... unless they are speaking after all this happen, but none of those missions we had females journalist .
