Perry didn't create Journey's songs by himself. He collaborated with Cain and Schon. Mostly he just wrote the lyrics, but the music were done by either Schon or Cain. Singers come and go, just like Perry. He isn't needed by Journey now to stay in the business. They have proven this for 20 years already.

2 good songs on this entire album as predicted: come away with me and holdin’ on. The rest is a hot mess. They just need to fire the producer, hire a legendary one and match the energy of these two songs with eight or nine new ones and they might have something. And fix the backup vocals.
