Any band/artist successfully attempting to do a Journey/Steve Perry song gets high marks in my books. Their songs are not stuff for the light hearted or new to art. You did a lovely rendition and didn't over do it which too many people fall into the trap of doing. Thank you. I grew up with Journey and their songs always fill me with nostalgia and thoughts of a time gone by.

You folks did such an outstanding job on this song. Before hearing it, I wasn’t sure how Annalise’s voice would compare with that of Steve Perry, who is widely regarded as having one of greatest voices in rock history. But Annalise stepped up and hit it out of the park. I loved every second of it. Way to go, Annalise, Mike and Cal. Congratulations on a phenomenal performance!!!

Ok, I’ll be honest: I saw the title and I thought to myself “hmmmm, I dunno if they can pull this one off” You see being an 80’s brat, a song as iconic as this one is, to me it’s almost holy ground. This is a home run IMY2! This is making the impossible song possible. You need a super high-pitched voice to be successful singing this song, and you have done it masterfully. The piano man and the guitarist are, as always, perfect. Only the original will challenge this version.

Wow! First time seeing one these folks videos. Dang that lady can sing like unbelievable. Very very very few people more or less a lady can knock that song out of the park yet whomever you are miss you just did! Journey had Starships singer Mickey Thomas with them for good reason as he's one of the few that could perform and sing at a level of Steve Perry. It's hard to believe you just pulled this off such spectacular fashion. Really! I've heard many guys and gals even professionally vocally trained try do this song justice and you just stole the #1 spot lady! I wonder how you would do with say some of Mickey Thomas vocal, Linda Ronstadt like "Long Long Time" or perhaps Sheena Easton's "For Your Eyes Only" or "Almost Over You."
