Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

In 1982, i was a junior in HS, and got to see them in concert opening up for Foreigner. Still one of my favorite concerts and a night of two of the greatest voices.

My favorite Journey song is Stay Awhile, which is another one of those songs that is part of a 2-song performance. It plays after Lights. It was also part of the Houston'81 Escape tour.

I grew up with this band.. I thought it was the norm.. It's crazy to me now to hear how younger generations are loving it.. Steve Perry.. awesome.. Neill awesome,.. Jonathan, Ross and Steve on drums.. just my first High School band that I loved.. they've stood the test of time.. I'm 57.. everyone loves Journey.

💜💜💜 I love Journey (with Steve Perry). They are fantastic. And this concert (1981 Escape Tour in Houston) is awesome. Try "Line Of Fire", "Mother, Father", "Who's Crying Now" and "Stone In Love" from the same concert. If you are feeling real adventurous I saw that the WHOLE Houston concert is on KZbin.

Mother Father from this concert is a must see. Don't Stop Believing and Mother Father are my favorites because they got me through some really tough times growing up. Mother Father seemed like it was written about my family back then. Im happy to say things turned around for us before it was too late, thank the Lord above. I know that reaction when Jonathan Cain starts that piano intro. Saw them on this tour at the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, NJ in the summer of '82. Favorite song? Ask me which one of my kids is my favorite. Lovin', Touchin' Squeezin' and Anyway You Want It are part of this concert.

love steve perry's voice, but i feel bad that rolie left when perry came on board. rolie has a great voice too, and was the lead vocalist before perry joined. my favorite journey song comes from the infinity album when both rolie and perry were with the band. it's actually two songs, but they were always played together on the radio back in the day. the two songs were "feeling that way" and "anytime" (songs 2 and 3 on the album). if you decide to react to that pair, you will hear greg rolie share the lead vocal with steve perry on "feeling that way".

What makes this song move is drummer Steve Smith’s great beat he uses. The way he plays him toms and hitting the bell on his ride cymbal. Brilliant but I’m a drummer sooooo.

I only knew journey from the radio hits. In the eighties, I was at work, walking down a hallway when a young producer stops me and asks me if I like Journey. I said, well I like the singer. She looked away quickly. Then I noticed the guy standing behind her . “”Hi “ , I introduced myself . He said, “I’m Neil. I kids recognised him. Ohh are you the guitar player? Yea. “You’re great. I enjoy your music”. “You said you liked the singer”. Yes. And now that I think about it the music is great.” So cringy. Needless to say I wasn’t asked to lunch. I was lucky because I didn’t know the names of any songs, anyway.

Gregg Rollie and Neil Schon ( guitarist) came out of Santana to form Journey. Watch the ‘78 video of Feelin That Way shows him and Steve sharing lead vocals! Journey is always better live- especially the entire ‘81 Houston show.
