Looks like his voice is strained from too much touring. Journey dhould also let Arnel have a good rest before doing other concerts. That’s the reason Steve Perry left. He was burnt out from too much concerts and Steve Augeri’s voice was affected for the same reason so he has to leave too.

Easily show.. he can still hit high notes. A year or 2 from now.. impossible..but he is the best of the best vocalists!!!

You are greatly correct. However..I’ve noticed that, over the years, he’s cut down many high notes.. in his defense, he always threw extra high vocals in all of his live vocals.. so now.. he does way less.. and can be a struggle for him to hit some notes of these songs. Two facts here!! 1:) He can..and could always out sing Steve Perry (who was great) 2:) IS STILL currently, the best possible choice as a frontman for this group. I, absolutely, love Arnel!!!

Journey is just their own cover band...AP is struggling and staining his voice, that's why they have the drummer, and apparently another singer to sing these songs for backup... Journey is no longer Journey without the Man who got them to where they were in the 80's...NS knows SP have the best voice ever and that's why their songs became the most popular then and even today....just write songs or just let the singers just sing the songs without trying to sound like SP because none of them do, will be good and better to hear without the struggling or straining of their voices...
