私がジャーニーのライブに初めて行ったのは、今からもう４０年以上も前の２度目の来日公演で、新宿厚生年金会館か中野サンプラザだったと思います。とにかくライブの良さは噂に聞いていた以上のもので、CDよりもテンポが速くノリの良い演奏に圧倒され、日本でもようやく少し人気が出始めていた彼らのその後の成功を予感させるものでした。当時洋楽ロックを聴き始めてまだ１年くらいの中学生だった私は、特にニール・ショーンのギタープレーに魅了され、食い入るように彼を見つめていた思い出が有ります。長い時が過ぎ彼らも私もすっかり年を取りましたが、いっそう円熟味を増し衰えを知らないニールのプレーとあの頃のスティーブ・ペリーを彷彿とさせるアーネル・ピネダのヴォーカルは、未だジャーニー健在を示していて、とても嬉しく思います。

私も武道館のこの日行きました。最高でした。懐かしい曲の連続で、高校時代にタイムスリップした感覚でした。ジャーニー世代が一斉に集い、開演前後はなんだか同窓会みたいな感じでした。

私がジャーニーを知ったのは１７歳の時、ペリーの歌声とショーンの高い音の綺麗な音色に感激しました。新宿厚生年金と中野サンプラザでライブの良さに感激しました。アーネルも色々あって精神的にも大変だったと思いますが歌声を聞き安心しました。同じ曲でもアーネルの味で良かったです。ジャーニーの歌を歌い続けてくれてありがとうです🙏２３日と２４日と両日ライブに行き昔を思い出し再度感動に浸りました。２時間フルのユーチューブをありがとうございます❣ユーチューブを觀てまたまた感動し涙です。次回いつ来日してくれるのでしょうね✈

I'm so glad with Mr Pineda in the Journey. As we can see the members of the band are very elated having tour again as if late Mr steve is still performing with them in the person of Mr Arnel Pineda. Terrific Journey!!!!!😮😮😮

24日、アリーナにいました。最後の3曲は感動して涙が出て全身が痺れました。1983/3/2の武道館はANY WAY YOU WANT ITで本編終了～SEPARATE WAYSのアンコールスタートだったんですよね。先日もANY WAY・・・の後、もっともっとやって欲しい、終わって欲しくないと祈ってしまいました。

To the many critics who don't like Arnel and they always compare him to Steve Perry, stop! Steve Perry left Journey, and these critics need to see that Journey is a BAND, yes Steve was the voice of it, but without the band, Steve Perry would not have been successful. WITH Arnel, the BAND can still play all their favorite songs and still do concerts! Yes, Journey has tried different lead singers, but they didn't bring what was needed to keep the same energy and sound like before. With Arnel, we get to see the other band members enjoy playing again, as well as many fans around the world who enjoy their favorite songs and seeing the band members who make this band for 5 decades. I'm happy for the band and Arnel who make up Journey and still going strong!

今晩は! はじめまして、僕も、この日のライブ観に行ってました! 自分は、2階南東席でしたので、アリーナ席からの動画嬉しいです! ありがとうございます✨🙏 1983年のFrontiers Tourの日本武道館公演のチケットが即SOLDOUTになってしまい、41年の時を経て、JOURNEYのパフォーマンスが観れて、感動しました。 OPEN ARMS SEND HER MY LOVE WHEN YOU LOVE A WOMANのイントロメロディが流れてきたら、涙が止まりませんでした。フルバージョンの動画本当にありがとうございます✨🙏

追伸です。アーネル・ピネダ、色々言われているけど、彼がいなかったら今のJOURNEYは存在していなかったから、本当に、アーネル・ピネダに感謝です! 喉の具合が心配でしたが、 2017年公演の時は、全曲半音下げでしたが、今回は、オリジナルkeyで全曲熱唱していて、感動しました。アーネル本当によく頑張ってる。

Thanks for sharing your nicely taken video, liked it!! The Journey band is extremely lucky to have recruited Arnel Pineda, who remains loyal to the band as a successful frontman for 17 years. He added more life to Journey's success when AP joined Journey in 2007, Journey's popularity was floundering ever since Steve Perry left, and with the arrival of AP, he revived it with success after success in its Concerts even now!!.. ***How many 70's and 80's rock bands are as hot as Journey? lots of them have failed! Maybe one reason was that Arnel Pineda has that versatile vocal ability, endurance,, young looks, and superb energy and charms to capture the crowds on the stage and gives an incredible performance each time! Hats off Arnel Pineda! Bravo Journey!!

この前日に行きました。素晴らしい内容だったのですが、セットリストが若干入れ替わっていて、一番聴きたかったGirl can’t help itを聴けなかったことだけが心残りだったのです（この日だけジェイソン氏のヴォーカル曲がSuzanneに入れ替わっていて、それはそれで貴重だったのですが…）。なので、ここで観ることができて感謝です。

Like any performer, he has his moments! Like one in Las Vegas and Thunder Casino Ca..His voice was pitchy. but I guessed that is the result of continuous touring. He is still amazing though!

when steve perry came in that age of arnel steve could'nt sing that higher notes anymore..steve knew that he connot gave the band what they want consert after consert tour after tour..so he have vocal problem due to non stop singing..and he also suffer in hip injury..but arnel vocal is durable and unstopable..thats why anrnel is the longest frontman of journy..yes steve will never be replace as arnel said..but arnel is here to continue the legacy and not to fill the soul that steve left bihind and not replace

Filipino singers are so good ,they had been born in good environment. humidity is good to keep vocal cords in good shape, and the Philippines has good weather and a lot of humidity, in Europe ,and America ,when the winter come is tough for singers.

While JOURNEY's new album FREEDOM includes the song " LIFE ROLLS ON" and GUNDAM SEED DESTINY soundtrack includes the song "LIFE GOES ON" (You can hear in that song guitar play that sounded like JOURNEY style). Hey, anyway there is GUNDAM SEED "FREEDOM" you know😜😜😉😉😁😁😘😘 And ARNEL can sing the theme song of VOLTES V (available in KZbin) which is the number 3 favorite ANIME SONG. 😜😜😉😉😁😁😘😘

I wish they would play some of the newer stuff also. When they released City of Hope and other songs they did play those on tour yet the audience had blank stares and did not know the songs. So it is the 70's and 80's songs that get the audience going.
