Steve asked -my daughter (age 16 at the time) what is your favorite song- she said" When you love a woman" -Steve took the time to tell us how he wrote part of the song and sang a couple words from the song to us-what a nice gift that was.

I got to see them twice, in 1980 and 1985. I wish I could go back and see them again! Can"t get enough of Steve's voice, it's even better when you can watch him and see the emotion. And the musical arrangements are amazing, I love each part of it!!

I was into different genres of music in 1980. I wish that I could get a do-over and add this genre.

This is one of my favorite songs...because, in part, it was from the early days. Not to mention, it's one of the "greats." I love to see the progression of the music of Steve Perry through the years! This is one song where Steve and Neal's love of music comes together to create the chemistry they had...magical!!!
