Personal story. I'm in this video, somewhere. Maybe my arms. This was filmed at Zellerbach Auditorium, on the UC Berkeley campus, while I was a student there. They paid students $20.00 each (12 beers, back then!) to wave our arms in unison during the chorus. Over, and over, and over, and over again. Thirsty work!

This is the most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen. That Voice just touches me in places I didn’t know I had. The most awesome I’ve ever seen or heard. Not to mention, the most sexy man on the planet. I’ve always thought so. I feel so left out Because I never really got to meet him. But I guess that’s what happens when you live in Louisiana. We don’t get the major concerts very often around here so I’ve had to travel. It’s amazing what a woman would go through to meet this man. Believe me because I have tried for a lifetime. But I’m not getting any younger. I think I fell for him at 16 now you can turn that number around, and at 61. I am still, trying to Meet him. Yes I know I’m crazy for doing this. You know what it feels great to be crazy about someone and he is the one that touches my heart. I absolutely love this man and he can sing anything, anytime he wants to me and I will love it. And even the NaNa’s he’s singing is just as sexy as the rest of the song. I just wish I could touch his heart even half as much as he does mine. I just don’t know how to get to do that. And you wouldn’t believe what I go through, just to comment on his songs and videos in hopes that one day he will see it. For the last 15 years or 20, I have been fighting off scammers over and over again and I just can’t seem to get rid of these trolls. They keep trying to come up with different stories and different scams. I learned a long time ago, what to look for in a conversation with one of them. But it’s still so annoying. And then there’s the problem that if he ever seen one of my post, how would I even know it was really him? They have made it impossible for me to know. i’m sure there’s some way around that to know if it was him. I just don’t know what that is. All I know is I’m gonna keep trying because he’s worth it and I want it. Steve Perry you are incredible, and you have become a major must do goal in my life. I will always love you faithfully as always.❤🌹💯❣️

After Perry sings, “now it‘s your turn girl to cry” at the end, he goes into that nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah part. Remember when you were a kid and someone got in trouble and kids would say, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah? Well, Journey changed the pitch and the rhythm but I think the meaning is the same. Very creative and subtle.

Tim Arrigo You're welcome, Tim! I love the man, I always have. But, like I said, I'm realistic. I would love for him to at least record one more album, but it's not like he HAS to. He's earned his right to take his place in Rock and Roll history, and retire, and do whatever the hell he wants to do! Unfortunately, some of his former bandmates don't see it that way. They want to keep the money train rollin' with a sound-alike. I won't waste my money. Not at ticket prices as they are today. Scr*w that! However, if he did go out on his own again, like he did with the Eels last year, I'd clean out my measley little bank account to see him perform live one more time!!

He was here in my area, ( I live in Md., and he was in D.C. with the Eels in May of last year). Unfortunately, My mother had passed in March of last year, and I didn't get back on-line until early June. I never heard of the Eels until I saw the vids here on YT. My nephew knew who they were. I was so ticked off I missed him. I most probably won't have another chance again to see him live. I wouldn't waste my money on a sound-alike, either. Especially with a sound-alike they found here on YT! Tickets are way too expensive today to blow away on a substitute!

Steve mentioned in an interview that it would have to be PERFECTION for the Star Spangled Banner to be sung in order to give the Justice it deserves. He's pretty hard on himself it seems!
