As a sound engineer, this was nothing short of awesome. The feeling was there, recording was mixed very well. Thank you for bringing this song into the 21st century!!! I like Avedis cymbals that sustain a bit longer but that's just my preference. Love the singer and the guitar player is pretty talented.

The videography? The brief-but-dramatic Neal Shon shredding solo happens, but the camera is floating around elsewhere - like he doesn't know the song (after hearing it a million times)? Frustrating and inexcusable.

Thanks guys, it gives me chills when I bought this Journey album I was a kid. Then I played Hard Rock for decades mediocrely with ideas between the prog rock of the 70s and the new wave of British heavy metal which I experienced to the full. One day here in Milan Metallica stopped by the rehearsal room... after finishing playing Hatfield asked us if the piece was ours. He said you're geniuses with the idea of ​​these trumpets and cellos in a hard rock song. I don't know but the magic of music is unattainable in search of the next note of the next musical rainbow! I mean Zero Hour, what need be said, about as good as it gets. Let me mention the harmonies cause they were outstanding, like the rest of the performance. Everyone was so good I'd hate to play favorites, but the singer was of course amazing, guitar, keyboards, bass & drums kicked butt. All done in what looks like someone's living room. Video was very good, but I would have like it to stay on the guitar when he's playing the solo. Bravo one & all.

Gotta agree with everybody else. Skeptical at first with the female lead but she nails it. No struggle at all. Very hard to cover "The Voice " so I vote excellent! The guys in the band grade A! Due to Journey's unique rhythm & blend method which was their signature sound has been achieved here. Your guitar player literally has each note mastered, your base player maintains the undertone in almost exact sync with Journey, your drummer is phenomenal his use of symbols is dead on! your keyboard player literally takes me back to that familiar 80's synth which Journey introduced us all to! AND......your vocalist is a star in the making! she captures EVERY pitch and harmony one could hope for!
