Really good to get an angle on Journey to hell, that's a long trip for you for 3 hrs but hopefully uv been to Towers too? This event seemed plagued with criticism since it started but from what you were able to show us it seems to have found the right balance now, just a little short in time. Isn't Valhalla amazing when everything works like a dream

People seem to hate Blackpool I get it in comments a lot on short form videos, I will always defend yes it can be a tad expensive. But they are pretty unique and I love the charm 😁

I was there on Friday (opening night) and had a blast. The opening ceremony was cool. I had hoped for a few more actors in both of the rides, it felt like there was a LOT roaming and maybe one or two more in those rides would have helped... but it was well done. The two mazes were a lot of fun as well... Twisted Tunnels was kinda hard to follow the storyline, but who cares when you have a seedy guy leading you through his 'hand painted' walls... Cabinet Of Curiosities was fun as well - wish it was longer, but it used the space well and culminated well with a 'concert gone wrong' shall we say lol.... did that little wierdo really say THAT? lol.... We ended the night with a couple of rides on Icon. I am not even a massive fan of the ride to be honest, but it was great at night and our final ride, at the stroke of 10 was a back row ride... overall no complaints from me.

@@1minutethemeparks Haha brilliant! I did feel the pacing of the queues for the mazes was quite poor considering how quiet the event was - certainly wouldn't want to be there on a busier night! Personally, I would have liked one more maze as well - but with only 3 hours it was hard to get round everything, another hour would have been good, but I get it. Considering the awful reviews this event has had in years gone by though it was a lot of fun.

@poisonoracle 100% We go every year despite the review and have only been dissapointed once 2021 was the best year by far :)

So why did they change grand national too infusion?

@@simonprice2104 Grand national was down so they opened Icon to keep people happy Icon is not part of the event this year 😁

I CAN NOT believe they closed the ghost train because the actors needed a piss! That’s just not acceptable especially at a 3 hour event
