I know someone who used to work on infusion. He told me they use zip ties to hold parts of it together (you can see some of them if you look close enough). One of the many reasons I won’t ride it ever again 😂

I used to marathon Infusion when it operated as TraumaTizer at the original Southport Pleasureland. It was the first inverted coaster I rode back in 1999 and 12 year old me didn't know any better xD

@@AntonioG-w7j Agreed, I’ve never seen an Arrow like it before and I have yet to try more of them. Personally, I have a love/hate relationship with them currently for example, I’m not a fan of Anaconda at Kings Dominion, however Loch Ness Monster isn’t bad although some parts are kind of janky😅 But overall The Legend Lives On ended up being pretty good👍🏻

Strangely enough I've always had a really soft spot for infusion. Yeah it was rough, but riding it with my dad really helped us get over a tough spot in our relationship, being able to laugh about it together was wonderful. As a side effect I also kind of have it to thank for getting me into roller coasters at all. I know that a utterly atrocious SLC isn't the most conventional way to get in roller-coasters, by there we are.

Infusion was my first big coaster as a kid, back when it was the Traumatiser. Me and my mate rode it on repeat and thought it was the best thing ever. Funny how terrible and painful coasters can be incredible when you're a kid.

Infusion gets a bad rep, it ain't that bad. Steeplechase is horrible but important historically. You guys were here a few days after my visit this year. There is also a Ferris Wheel and more flat rides on the central pier, Blackpool is chock full of rides and stuff.
