As a retired train operator I can tell you the biggest threat to your safety is that employees are forced to work without 'paid sick leave.' Your president recently broke up a labor action, thus forcing railroad employees to either work sick or forfeit pay. Please get in a huff over that recklessness of our national railroads. The NY subway system has more than enough safeguards protecting customers from serious injury. You can be sure Darios McCollum will not be operating a train when he should be home in bed with the flu.
