Funny thing is Patrick, when you were carrying that beautiful trumo thing around, kind of like a purse on your shoulder, you could not tell it was heavy. Though the small child’s room upstairs might only fit one bed, a small fainting couch might fit by the window and you could actually accommodate two children, maybe three if they are small. We need to get all utilities and all chimneys checked and updated in the chateau before that renovation can continue. We have been waiting on most of those services to show up for months. This is France. We also need the income from the farmhouse to do other renovations, so that is a priority.

I have two episodes to watch, I have been far to busy with this years flu! Awful, it was honestly worse then covit! I love the curtains guys. The outings are wonderful, the countryside and villages are so pretty. Guild away, a Chateau needs some bling! I guess the rule of less is more may be helpful. You are both stylish and will balance it just right. And after all it is also your home, which means it has to sing to you. 😘😘

We had a summer flue and we were really sick for 5 days. Plus the days before and after. Was awful. Thank you on the gilding. We want it to be stylish and not over the top. We just got an item that needs re-gilding. Glad you like the curtains. I’m working on the 6 curtains we need for our bedroom. And the bed crown too 🤩🤩🤩. Be safe. Don’t get that flu! 💗💖💗

Lovely work on the curtains, I’m so impressed. If this was my choice, I would be lining them, as ultra violet kills material patterns, this would help protect them. I love the look of the copper pots too, bringing home your spoils of the day is very exciting. Still lots of work yet to do but it’s all going to look marvellous. 🥰

Hi Laurann . I will line the curtains that are exposed to daily sunlight. the Farmhouse's shutter are closed most of the time. The copper pots are making me happy. Great way to cook. Leaving for our next brocante in about 8 hours. long way but all exciting work. hugs from Colombe 🥰😘🥰
