Decorating A French Chateau for the Christmas Holiday!

If you are hearing other languages over our video, that is something in your own personal settings on KZbin and is not part of the audio in our vlog or anything that we can control. Hi my lovely darlings Stuart and Patrick, it’s good to see you both looking more relaxed. Love all the doggies helping at the fountain. They are all very well behaved dogs and are totally gorgeous . With santa 🎅 present, the brocant was my idea of the perfect Christmas Market. Hi sweeties. It must be so fine feeling the warmthe in the rooms. And also keeping the dampthe out. I love all the decorations you've done until now. I'm sending two parcels. One with guirlands and some treats, the other parcel also contains some decorations, little red ones and some white ones. I love the fountain, I can’t pinch your idea as we don’t drain ours in the winter as it’s planted with water lillies. With the help of my girls we’ve done the tree, the inglenook arch, 2 mantelpieces, 1 windowsill and 2 display cabinets! I know how much work you, my two favourite gentlemen, have done to make the chateau look breathtaking. Congratulations 😍

Everything looks beautifully Christmassy. You don't have to go totally overboard with decorations, the candle light, foliage and gorgeous things you've arranged are perfect. It's a Chateau, it's beautiful! Christmas is a spirit, ambiance, scents from the kitchen and a chance to relax by the fire with a good drink and crack some nuts 😉 I just won an auction on a huge sofa that looks very Christmassy actually. But delivery being from the UK I'm lucky if it will be here within 40 days. But I'm pretty exited, I've been looking for the ONE, that's super comfy for hours of reading or chatting tête à tête, watching my favorite youtubers, has to be dog friendly (not too precious and roomy enough) and sparks the imagination a bit. I didn't think I'd win the auction, submitted my bid the very last minute, so I'm surprized! It's so British you can't find anything like it here. And petterned in various deep reds, not unlike an oriental rug. A large drop leaf Parker Knowles with tassles in the corners in nice condition. Not 18th century style, more late 19th. Hopefully it will work anyway, even though it's quite large. My version of Freud's divan I think... Definstely not sparse "Scandi" I'm a bohemian so I might as well make it a real statement 😁. I do wish I had half the energy you guys have to deck things out, but really it's just me here these days, mostly, so I'm keeping it simple. An advent candelabra the kind we Scandinavians put in a window, a paper star for another one, flowers and mulled wine, ie easy to dismantle. Hoping you guys have a great advent weekend. Smootches for the pooches too! 😘❤✨
