Good morning Patrick & Stuart, let me start with the bathroom, those mosaic tiles are wonderful. If the b/room layout is challenging, then this is the way to go. I was quite amazed how you filled in the space around the wall taps with a single little block. The colour is not the greatest as you can get so many tile designs, but, to be practical, you can bring in any colour of the rainbow for towels if you do not wish to use the blue, white or even black. Décor is up to you, what you like or decide on. Now, that wedding cake!! It turned out so beautiful. Stuart you looked so dapper!! As for the room décor nobody could have improved on that. I am sure Jane was so happy not to mention the bride and groom. That being the first wedding, may there be many to follow. It all is starting to come together. Cannot wait for Friday's episode I am sure it is going to be a treat to watch. Oh I love the basin in the b/room the ceramic is gorgeous. Do take care, kind regards, Elize

We’ve just got back from two weeks cruising on the Rhein and Danube (it rained every day bar one!) much as we enjoyed the beautiful buildings, amazing scenery etc., the first thing I did after putting one of several loads in the washing machine, was to binge watch your and Terry and families vlogs. Une fois de plus, votre restauration est exemplaire car vous respectez l'histoire de votre très belle Demeure ... le choix que vous avez fait de parcourir les brocantes et de participer à des enchères afin de donner à cette Maison un mobilier digne de son cheminement au travers les siècles passés, est fantastique et en particulier les lustres .. A ce sujet et si vos pas vous amène à Paris je vous invite à découvrir une brocante Porte de Vanves dans le 14ième (vous trouverez sur google toutes les informations utiles pour vous y rendre) .. je suis moi même un amateur de la "chine" et j'y ai trouvé de très belles pièces ... Back in the early 90s we had a leak in the bathroom and I had to take up the flooring and remove the baseboards, the leak went under the flooring. I put down tiles and used the poly. baseboards and used liquid nails to put them on. I used my dad's miter saw to cut the boards, and several guys asked me how many boards did I mess up. I said none. And they all said they messed up several. It's one of those things you have to think before you cut.

First the curve that creates the transition from wall to ceiling in the bathroom is a cool touch. Bet it was a little fiddlily to make it stay, but it was certainly worth it in my opinion. The wedding cake was wonderful Jane’s daughter must have been so pleased. The flowers on top were so delicate and the designs on the bottom layer were so reminiscent of a chateau. The perfect touches. As I always remark, you guys do the best work. You should be proud of the results. Hope your week is great.

I believe I have seen the difinitive tiling job ever, beautifully done, perfect joints, amazing, only to then be shown the same kind of perfect, artistic workmanship done in the cake decorating field. Oh Stuart, that cake is a masterpiece and I know how much work that took, because I have done special cakes for years and I have to say, it was a joy watching the construction you shared with us. Not to forget you Patrick, the tile man in this episode...good job, you said you don't have a lot of patience, but no doubt you needed some for doing that job! Can't wait 'til Friday to see what else you two got up to at the wedding!!!!
