I got baptized in Holy spirit at one of JM conferences in LB California 2002 I believe. I was in audience and my moms friend prayed in tongues near me. I felt like I got hit from the inside with love potion. I was in tears and I realized oh, that alcohol was counterfeit of Holy spirit. I felt drunk but in the Spirit. I felt a huge infilling of God's unconditional love. It was overwhelming but needed because I went on to sing at church on praise team. TGBTG!

At the time I had sexual abuse in my own life, but not to the extent she had to deal with. But enough where, I didn't know I was still being affected by it, until I heard her on the radio at work. Her confession, helped me to have more faith in God's saving power, because if God can be there for Joyce Myers and she can rise. Then I knew God was going to raise me to be a fearless woman one day. I’m in the path to spiritual maturity thanks to the teachings of Joyce. She has been a gift from God in my life since the pandemic started in 2020. What I like the most is her down to earth approach to teach the word of God. She does not use emotions to get to people but instead a sensible and practical approach to become partners with God. My life changed the moment I prayed the prayer of salvation in one of her conferences in 2001 in Phoenix AZ I came out asking what was that power I had felt, I felt God, his power. I started to dream and would see my self preaching the gospel I even dreamed Jesus and He invited me to follow him and I did. now they call me the Mexican-Joyce Meyer lol. I will always see her as my spiritual mamma. now I lead smal groups. I work for my church here in the State of WA Thank you thank you for being obedient to the voice of God. 🙌
