Cole playing Joyners conscience/reason holding him accountable is tuff!
@Brianpeckin3 жыл бұрын
I took it as if boy was talking, he like look dude this is what it is not a conscience thing.. That make no sense when the first line was "I hate a fuck nigga, used to be a fuck nigga" talking about himself as a friend giving opinions
@thebeatmajors_yt3 жыл бұрын
@@Brianpeckin lol that's why I said "holding him accountable" for that reason hence the "karma, I know you heard that". Also you could very well argue for argument sake that Joyner is reflecting since he's talking in past tense "I fucked you over DID you dirty etc" and Cole could be serving as him talking to himself after his matured, especially with how Cole ends the song with the full circle version of Joyner's hook. But none of us were there so 🤷🏾♂️ it's straight fire either way blessings 🙏🏿

Nobody can determine somebodies else is heart, or mentality. People are willing to kill themselves over this shit because they don’t know how to control their emotions in the moment. I had my friend drowned him self because he thought the only path after high school was the military. You cant justify the actions but you cant control someone emotions especially a women. Cheating happens but you have to deal with the consequences. Simple as that. Respect Scru opinions but hes talking if we were living in a perfect world where people have their emotions in check and thats not the case.
@IzzyIzzFrfr82063 жыл бұрын
@@drewpalmer4582 the thing is. You don't have to be even slightly perfect to understand thats morally wrong. But I understand where your coming from still gotta go with not condoning that behavior, that was scru's point. There's NO justification for that.

i'm a woman and i have been through a lot and still never behaved like that. i agree. people and media to quit normalizing behavior that is ok for people to act like that is toxic and breaking the law. no woman should get away with anything that a man could not get away with. and men should be normalized as possibly being a victim above always being guilty.
@teblogarrison63053 жыл бұрын
I'm a woman too and I agree. But also wish we could stop normalizing men cheating. If you don't want to be in a monogamous relationship, just say that in the beginning.
@breannahuntington82763 жыл бұрын
@@teblogarrison6305 100% agree. there are so many things that we were raised to seem normal and now that things are becoming new normal, you can't help but look back and be like why can't we reevaluate and relearn and change this old normals as they should be and how they would fit with the world today not before in a healthy manner. unfortunately this is with several behaviors between men and woman, older and new generations, and races but no one is ready for these conversations.

im not condoning it but when you hurt somebody the ball is in their court the part you have control over is done and they can react how ever they want yes this is way over the top but its still a possibility which is why you dont hurt people like this in the first place

Joyner's new stuff has been super radio friendly. Zim Zimma is freaking wavvvvyy.
@flexluthor13 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more, I went through that same wave of reactions to her actions. The message was clear until the end..... Joyner's Verse: Disgusted/Appalled Cole's Verse 1st Half: The Cause and Effect Cole's Verse 2nd Half: Disappointment Because at that point the reality of that cause and effect and the perspective of losing your material objects as opposed to losing her trust is irrelevant because she is going to jail. The bigger picture is that we should value the people we love more than the material objects we hold near and dear though that'll be lost on both parties in this scenario. The man moves on, buys new clothes and insurance covers a brand new vehicle and the woman goes to jail and now has a record which will negatively impact her for life and fulfill the crazy female stereotype. SIDENOTE: I'm a Writer and this topic felt worthy of expounding on so for any TLDR people just know this might not be for you. Shoutout The Pillow 🤣

All the emotions that you feel during the video playing is supposed to be a symbol for what the person feels in their heart. Is cheating a reason for this behavior is the wrong mindset. This is a visual for what cheating emotionally feels like. You are tearing down your own home, pushing away the ones you are with setting fire to what you built and gained. If you read the song, then hear the song, then watch the video with no audio you reveal the different layers. Different perspectives and cues give you more understanding of the words, then the visuals pound in the words. It is a awesome song with great layering.

The thing that the imagery shows is that she was hurt, but it also shows what kind of person she is after that. He made every dude uncomfortable and that's not to glorify a woman to trash our stuff but it was enough to get us to feel a way on the level of how women probably feel cuz most of the time we cant relate cuz it takes more imputation to feel on a womans level.. That's not saying all women but they are unique beings that process more emotion than MEN.. that may hurt someone's ego but do the math... it is what it is

It's not being normalized bro, the song is just saying the pain would make the person act out on their rage or despair, cuz that's how most people are, emotional pain is more painful and severe than physical pain, so most people think shit like this ain't justified but it's not about that tho, people just gotta be careful with other people's emotions, cuz sometimes it's life and death, it's like putting water on your computor is worse than it falling on the ground and it's screen cracking
