This is a blind tone test between Joyo JF-16 "British Sound" amp simulator and Marshall JVM 410 crunch channel.

Are you using direct output for recording or going thru amp return and speaker? I own the pedal and can recommend it.

Put a little tube screamer overdrive before this pedal and you get that scooped metal sound.

@John Savage You are wrong. Set its output to any PA system. Add a TS in front. This pedal operates like an amp. You have to try it with an open mind to be convinced.

I have this pedal and if you blend distortion from your amp and use a boost, you can get a massive doom sound
