Thank you for not talking. We need more demos like yours! I'm getting one of these I can't believe how good it sounds and it looks like you do t even have the gain cranked.

Thanks for posting this. Been thinking of getting the Zombie XL for a while now. I noticed you have it on a low gain setting, yet there's tons of gain. Impressive little monster.
@masruran20023 жыл бұрын
Yes the gain on this amp is a lot. Also the volume is very loud too. But for solos i think the sound a bit 'middle freq scoop', need an equalizer to boost middle freq during solos.
@cocotico99973 жыл бұрын
@@masruran2002 could I boost it with an od for solos?
@iTxip2 жыл бұрын
@@cocotico9997 the od would be more of a "before the amp" pedal, to boost the whole signal, but you could try it. What he means is putting a eq pedal in the effects loop just for boosting the mids in solos so its more audible in a mix/live.
@masruran20022 жыл бұрын
@@iTxip yes EQ pedal is more suitable to boost middle frequencies.

Its a very good thrash distortion, specially for the price

I got the jackman 2 and the zombie 2, I play them both through seperate 4x12 marshall code 412 cabinets, using a a/b/y splitter to send the guitar signal to both amps. The built in distortion channel on these amps are great, the jackman gives me a jcm sound, and the zombie gives me a mesa boogie rectifier sound. Dont be fooled by their size or 20w rating, these amps are loud as hell. I put my valve heads away and use these nowerdays, that's how much they impressed me.

Now try plugging a 6 or a 10-band eq pedal in the effects loop. It is really SO cool that this little amp head even has that feature.

That was one hell of a demo, the amp truly delivers. Thanks for posting this. Which processor did you run your daisy chain through? I noticed some chorus and looper being used. I’m on a hunt for my next rig 🙂
@masruran20022 жыл бұрын
I'm not using any processors or audio interface, for the distorted/overdrive sound I'm using straight the distortion from the amp alone. But during clean tone in the middle I'm using Nux chorus and a bit of reverb. All using pedals, no guitar effect processor.

I was hoping this video was gonna start off with a video of you drinking ice coffee with a backpack and talking about how you and your gf like to ride bikes early in the park to watch the sunrise and the actual video was gonna take 20 minutes to actually start where the guitar part only lasts one minute and then you go back to you going back to Starbucks. Disappointed. 🤣

I bought mine last two.months ago i dont know why is that there so much humming? Is there anyway that it sound like with that with no hums? Any advise?
@goatt58672 жыл бұрын
Buy a noise gate pedal it silences feedback from your guitar, coukd also be your guitar wiring or patch cord
@masruran20022 жыл бұрын
Humming could come from many sources. They can be guitar cables, pickup types, ground loop, or some times the postion of your amp correspond to our guitar. Try switch postion of your amp or use better quality guitar cables, or sometime just standing on a insulated rag or carpet can reduce the hum/noise.

I had the same problem with a Jackman II I just got. Could not figure out the problem with the help of JOYO and they needed up refunding me back money. A week later I had seen I had plugged the amp head into a battery backup unit with the same plugin as the pedals I was using. SO I plugged the amp into another outlet and pretty much problem solved. Also these little amps hate most distortion pedals. It overwhelms them. Barely using a OD pedal is about all they can handle. It also hates my Phase 90 Script pedal. But it takes delays, reverb, chorus, EQ pedal and only 1 boost pedal of the many I have works with it by Caline very well. But you probably know that by now. Still decent little amps for under $200.00. Wish we had them back in the 80's when I started playing.
