I’m ALWAYS smiling when I watch your videos, I love and share the same passion and I’m always advocating for scales too - don’t you think they should become like a mandatory item in bridal showers or mandatory items when ppl shop for kitchen utensils and appliances? Gosh, a scale is SO worth it. I use it ALL the time and not only for baking, yesterday i made hamburgers and I weighed them so they were the same size, I’m obsessed! I have a question!! I saw you almost dropped the banana, I was thinking the other day how you present the recipe without jumpcuts (on editing) and coincidentally I was thinking to myself the other day “has she ever messed up in a way she had to re-do stuff?” So my curiosity is, has it ever happens to your when filming? I made this cake and added peanut butter chips on the top after. It was absolutely delicious. I got so many compliments. People couldn’t believe I made it from scratch. It was super moist and rich and the banana really was a perfect compliment. I brought it to work and it got devoured. I will be making this again. Thank you so much. Weights are great as I am aware cups and spoon measurements have different measurements in different countries. I love that the weights are in metric and oven temperatures given in celsius too.

This is the 1st chocolate cake I’ve ever tried baking at home, made it in a round cake instead of the flat rectangular she used in the video. My friends and i loved it! Made this cake yesterday and loved how it turned out - moist and thick, almost fudge-like. Great alternative to the banana loaf I usually do with leftover bananas. Didn't need the ganache - was sweet enough without it. Easy to make with no creaming of butter or machine mixing. Thanks!

I tried this recipe, it is really outstanding. I put oatmeal and almond slices on top for decorations instead of frosting, but it is still very rich, moist and delicious after 2 days. Really good, you should try. Banana, coffee and vanilla is bringing the choco flavour to a new level.

Oh! Bananas & Chocolate! My favorite mix! I find two brands of bananas here in Tennessee: the usual brand (with the lady and the fruit hat) and a new brand from Costa Rica. The second brand has an intense flavor and ripens very evenly. That's the kind of bananas I like for my loaves of bread. Thanks for the recipe!.

yesterday have tried your red velvet cake for my hub's bday.It was so moist nd yummy..all loved it here ..I made some difference on it..only thing is for the froastng i have used one and half sticks of butter+Whiping cream and cream cheese..I have froasted my 2nd layer with orange froastng..just added 2tblspn of freshly squeezed orange juice and 1tspn of orange zest..Thank you so much..My cakes were failed when ever i do make cakes..

I made this today for Halloween. It's one of the best cakes, so moist and delicious. The banana really comes through nicely with the chocolate. I had to laugh though, when I finished mixing the wet ingredients, the alcohol from the vanilla extract made the mixture smell like a coffee banana liqueur! Ideas? And the chocolate ganache is perfection, especially if you let it set and beat with a hand mixer. Thank you, Stephanie!

For my personal liking, I reduced sugar to half and add in a chunk of nuts. The cake turns out very moist, not so sweet and the crunchy part from the nuts is just amazing. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

This is Rick. Actually Stephanie rarely messes up requiring a retake. She does all the videos in 1 take. If we need to reshoot it’s almost always because I screwed up technically.
