When I was married I had relatives that lived in burley. They talked about the water rights and politics all the time. I always told them when there is politician’s, lawyers and money involved there isn’t a chance in hell the guy trying to make a living is coming out on top.

My property in Burley is at 4238 FT my house well ranges between 60 and 69 ft water level the aquifer that we pump our house water out of comes from the canal system that's why there is a 10-ft variant between high and low when they flood the canals it fills the aquifer when they shut the canals off the aquifer begins to dry up. Just a little insight into some of the magic Valley's water the next water is over 200 ft deep and that aquifer existed before the canal system. My house is approximately 4 1/2 Mi south of the Snake River and it is approximately 7 mi from my house to Burley or 7 mi from my house to declo

This water issue has people at each others throats. I just hope we can find a solution everyone can live with. I work directly in ag upstream from you. This is a situation that could bring out the worst in people unfortunately. I just hope it doesn't come to that.

Jay, I think you are doing great. If I remember correctly, Clint at C&C Equipment who works on heavy equipment all of the time, makes a distinction of when you cross the line of beginning to work on D9 size equipment there is a substantial jump in the size tools, size of parts, weight of components and equipment you need to work on them. He generally tries to work on equipment under that D9 level for that reason.

I had a situation like yours a few years ago. Cough and hack for several months. Went to the doc several times. It would get better for a few days then back to being sick. I don't have insurance so I asked how much for a chest exray? It was cheap and I got one. Come to find out I had bacterial pneumonia. Got the right med's and was over it in a week. But it took 5 months to figure it out. Hell I thought I was dying. Get well soon.

Interesting listening to all the information on water rights and water rights history. You made a comment in a previous video about all the new houses with straws that were sucking out of the aquifer. That would be the first place I would start, shut down building new homes, no blue grass lawns, golf courses etc. People have to eat, but they don’t need to have a lawn with non native grass.

Hi Jeff, please take care ! There is some viral lung crud going around where I am at ,and it's tough to shake!! The intricacies of water rights both surface and sub surface are overwhelming to say the very least! Add in irrigation company ,ditch company's, irrigation districts combined with public water systems and the town's and city's delivering water to the public, the litigation involved is the most complicated in the country today! Then throw in the EPA ,and tribal activists and it becomes the unsolvable mess it is today! Today unelected people sitting on comitties imposing fee's and regulations on taxpayer's has become a huge problem, well enough of that stuff ,just wanted to encourage you to take the time to get better,America needs you Jeff get well God bless!

That water situation is interesting. Where I am in Connecticut pretty much everyone has their own private well . Some towns have city water in the center of town. There are barely any farms so watering crops is not part of the equation. I hope you fell better and can you show us more of the Case Garden tractor :)?

Hey Jeff, I had a bought of hacking and coughing fits and generally feeling like death warmed over from not getting a good nights sleep as well as from the coughing fits a couple years back and found that lack of humidity in my bedroom was the reason. I purchased a humidifier with a UV light water sanitizer.

Wasnt the old company "eCobalt Solutions" which was bought by Jervois, if I remember right. Also the processing if I remember right is going to Brazil where Jervois has a large processing plant. So jervois mining is shipping to Jervois refining in Brazil. So that sounds about right.

Grandpa always said the next World War wouldn't be about oil and would be over water! Our State of Indiana is currently playing realtor with tax payers money. Meaning individuals can't compete because they don't have tax dollars to throw around and wish to actually make a profit in the end.They purchased 10,000 acres of prime farm ground the butts our place on the east with plans of them along with Lilly (drug manufacturers) developing a high-tech industrial park last year. Building has already begun and guess what? No water...The state was like well we will just go 3 counties over and tap a river. Which will work but there is 1000s of lawyers and politicians between here and there with their hands out already! This is a big enough project money wise that I wouldn't be surprised if a few folks end up missing before the dust settles if they make to much of a stink.🙄 I have heard this called the 100 day cough Jeff. Not much you can do besides rest and ride it out. You will fell better some days and not so much others until it runs it's course. Take care of yourself and the dozer will be done when life allows!

I had something like that in 2017. It wouldn't go away. Coughed up phlegm night and day for two weeks. Finally broke down and went to the doctor. He gave me a seven day supply of pills. It took the whole seven days to get relief. I was still hacking on eighth and ninth day. Hang in there Jeff! ✊️

Water has been a major issue in the western US since settlers arrived. I live in Nampa, ID a ways north of the area Jeff is talking about. If it were not for the canal systems built starting around 1906, there would be very little agriculture here because the annual rainfall in the treasure valley is 8"-10" annually. water for irrigation and domestic use mostly comes from the Boise river and the dams built to capture spring runoff from the mountains to the north of us. All of the subdivisions and most city lots use irrigation system water for landscaping. Most subdivisions use pressurized systems managed by the irrigation company, but some use flood irrigation just as some agriculture does.

Hey Jeff, I have had some luck with boiling salt water (1/2 litre water and a table spoon of salt ) on the stove top and breathing it in through the mouth and hold it in for as long as you can in your lungs and repeat, hope it helps, thanks for the show man 🍻

Jeff, there is no doubt, some conspiring is going on way up the chain of water controllers, and the absolute drive is precisely the money aspect involved. You need only look to the situation in the San Joaquin Valley in Northern California, to see what they are up to. Why would “they” want to pay you, and whomever else to recharge, that is money out of their pockets. Water is a high dollar commodity all over this country. I think that “Judge” made a great ruling for the local farmers, and residents of your area. But “they” (water controllers) will rear their ugly heads next year, and the next, and the next, and eventually get their way, and you will have the situation that they have in California…, no doubt. So the canal company is a more than a bit sharp in their business practices, looking to encourage people to buy (additional?) rights to the water & to dominate the recharge payments by squeezing everyone else dry. I'd seen the waterskiing video from Jonas previously and had encountered a Rocky-Mountain-Farmer video dealing with the water curtailment. China should be free to do as they please with their cobalt as anyone, though I can comprehend that any big player shaking things up may have implications for other market participants...that's a risk of being a business. Your explanation on the politics of the water allocation was insightful!

Hi Jeff, I take a zinc tablet and some Ivermectin for that. It works overnight and gets rid of the glue like crap in the lungs. Stops the coughing too.
