For the "H" case it’s better to (color facing you) R U2 R’ (U’ R U R’) U’ R U’ R’ So you take out F2L U2, then do the 4 moves, then re insert F2L 12 moves instead of 14 This is the same alg than the "Sune" one it’s just done twice version and it’s the true "Antisune" not the lefty version like the vid shows hope I was clear

For anyone looking to save time when practicing this: once you solve using this method, if you use one of these algorithms on it again it will un-solve the top layer while still leaving the lower layers solved. Means you don't always have to repeat the steps earlier in the cube to practice.

@tgwnn
@tgwnn 4 жыл бұрын
@@de7io407 Yes but in practice many of them are pretty short, many of them appear in PLL algorithms, and you can start with "rightie" cases which is just 30 ish and mirror them.

@@de7io407 Often you have a choice of combining two easy OLLs and get a third one to cover a difficult case as well. I'd say in practice learning the 57 algs is a similar effort as learning full PLL (21 algs but more complicated). Plus, you'll feel like a wizard once you're done!!

Thank you !! This video is really really helpful. I just bought a Rubik's cube few days ago and because of your videos I'm being able to learn very quickly. I really have problems with memorization, so your tips help me very much. And in the Pi case you can just remember the symmetic pattern 1 2 2 1 2 1 2 2 1. Because you know that there is alternation R-U-R-U-...starting R, but in some cases it is one time and in other cases two times, so remembering this pattern might help, maybe saying it outloud.

What I really appreciate is that he actually leads you slowly to this! I learnt and memorised and really mastered the beginner's method, then the advanced beginner's method (both his videos), and frankly if you have those 2 down, these 10 algorithms effectively go down to 5 new ones to learn - 1st 3 you should know by now, Sune he's already taught so you should already know (he just doesn't tell you the name!), and antisune is exactly the same thing but from the left so there's literally no memorising needed for that. You're then just left to learn the 0 corner and 2 corner algorithms.
